Just courious what other parts of the country are paying for bowling per game. Our center just dropped the weekend $10.90 unlimited bowling and went to $3.09 per game weekdays and $4.59 weekends. Looks like I'll be only bowling league for a while. It is a company owed AMF in Central Florida

I only practice when the rates are promotional. $1.69 per game league rate in one house before 5pm and Sundays before 3pm. Other house it is $2 per game league bowler rate any time.

Regular hours at the house I bowl in is like $3.25, Tuesday's they change $2. With it being a small house, open bowling is only Tuesday's, Sunday's, and a brief time on Saturday.

The best deal here for league bowlers is the "PlayPass", unlimited open bowling for $22 a month .

League rate $2.35/game. Open play varies from $3.50 to $6. Two hour rates around $12

Bowling alley only has 32 lanes and during fall they have big leagues most weeknights so I couldn't open bowl if I wanted

During the season open bowling is $4.00 per game. There are leagues every night, Sunday,Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoon is our after school program. Being a 12 lane house we stay full. Youth leagues Saturday morning and bumper league at noon. Also during the high school bowling season practice is Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri 3-5 unless there is a match that day.
Summer is better with leagues Tue, Wed and Thur. Bowl in any of those and get three free games a day. Only downfall is in the summer they close Sundays and Mondays and those leagues ARE NOT sanctioned. Wed is a PBA Experience league and the other two are now both 9 pin no tap leagues.

Our fall prices just went into effect. $4.09 per game M-F/5pm, $6.29 F/5pm-Sun. League bowlers get a Brunswick card that is good for 2 free games per week and 20% off food/beverages. Way higher than the summer. Sure hope they have some special coupons each month or there may not be much practice.

With our League cards we get 2 free games a week (per league joined) and 20% off food and soft drinks. I am hoping it gives us the 1.99 per game other wise your right very little practice. Our center is 30 minutes away so at regular prices plus gas will be cost prohibitive.

We have a league bowler discount 1/2 price, reg price is 4.35 and since the same people own 5 centers within 20 minutes they honor it at any of them.
They also run different daily promo's at the various centers such as :
(no additional discount on the specials)
7.00 for 2 hours

2.00 games

5.00 fee plus .25 a game / also .25 pop and hot dogs

7.00 unlimited bowling // they call this one "Bowl your head off" runs wed and thur at the center I bowl league.

Buy one game get one free

Of the 5 centers 1 is 42 lanes 2 are 32 and 2 are 24 so there are quite a bit of open bowling hours available.

Our local center's "Summer Special" was $3.50 per game. That is the same as they charged league bowlers for open bowling last winter. Coaches and employees get a slight;y better rate. Regular open bowling is at least $5 per game.

One of my houses offers year round $1 a game for league members. Another house offers $8.25 then a quarter a game for as long as you want to bowl. The third house I bowl at offers a different promotion every day that usually works out to about $2 or slightly more a game. Regular open bowling ranges from $3.25 to $4.50 depending on the house but I never pay full rate anywhere.

We have a casino that USED TO have dollar games after 11:00 PM. I heard they are dropping this. They are keeping the .50 games on Friday between 9-11am.
It is a great deal and it usually gives a great chance to try your adjustments on oil. 2 weeks ago in 6 games I had over a dozen 10 pins. Last week I started practice with 5 straight 10 pins. Frustrating until I realized I NEEDED to practice making 10 pins.

Due to my schedule typical practice time would be on weekend mornings and the house I practiced at (not the one who screwed my league if you read the other post) raised their Saturday/Sunday morning rates from $0.99 per game to $5.49 per game. As you can expect the house is now dead on Saturday mornings.

It varies greatly.

Not counting the non-sanctioned luxury/gourmet places like Lucky Strike (because I'd only go there for a function or a date or something...I'd never frequent an abomination like that or actually practice there....

Brunswick centers offered 3 free games per week for league members.
Upside: Free
Downside: Couldn't use them during cosmic bowling and nearly every time there wasn't league play there was cosmic bowling.

AMF offers 2 free games a week for league members and they have $2 games on Monday nights, $3 games most other weeknights. They also have doen 2 hours for $13. And they've even done unlimited bowling for $13 on certain holidays.

The private centers are a little more costly....usually between $3 and $5.25 per game. The center I bowl league in I get $1 off...other center I think it's $0.75 off per game.

But just about every center...you can usually find some time/day where it's $2/game...it's just usually at a less convenient time.

On Mondays after 8PM it is $1.25 a game. That is the only time I practice and pay, but I do have several free games left from when I bought a ball, so I can use those when the regular rates are in effect. Not sure what those are, but they are much higher.

The house I bowl at used to offer $1.00 games before 5 on weekdays. It went up to $2.00. But they charge me $1.00 since I'm in there often. After 5pm or on weekends they charge $3.50. I honestly won't bowl around here for that price.

Where I practice the amount they charge is all over the place. They have nights where there's coaching available for around $15 for a couple hours. They have slots on the weekend where it's cheap in the morning, $7 for 3 hours. Otherwise it's around $3/game.

At my local Brunswick Zone I was doing open bowling Monday and Wednesday nights after 9PM. Monday night was $1\game after 9PM and Wednesday night is $7 unlimited bowling after 9PM until they close which is Midnight.

Unfortunately AMF\Bowlmor made them take away the $1 game starting tonight, they now have to charge a $5 cover charge Monday if you want the $1 game.

Leave it to some bozo at a corporate building to screw over the serious bowler trying to improve.
