Hallelujah!!

PinPal application has finally been updated. It's the first update in a few years and I am glad that the developer has come back to it.

Have dug through to check what improvements, but it looks nicer and noticed that if you share your scores, it now shows within those scores, what pin you left by frame which is cool.

This app is the most I have spent on one, and at $8.99 I can say it has been well worth it.

I can't say I like the new color scheme! But, I'm glad to see this app has been updated.

is that 8.99 one time only?

I don't have iOS anymore. I still use the old iOS version on my old iPhone...since there was no way to transfer from iPhone to Android. I probably will get an iphone the next time around so maybe then I can transfer the files over and update.

Given how much I bowl, I don't know. I might exceed it's capacity.

I was hoping they could add in some other metrics...at least a check box for "Pocket Hit?" so we can track pocket %.

Yes, one time only.

If you still have your iPhone, you can still update it and use the new version of it. Was not aware of the back up data not able to be transferred from one OS to another. Have you tried to email the developer about that? He is responsive to input and questions.

I should send him an e-mail. But yeah, the version you buy cannot go from ios to android, etc.. I bought the ios version for my 4s Iphone and then bought the android version when I switched to an Android. So I've paid $8.99 twice. But since all of my data is on the iPhone....I only use the android version on league night or practice when I forget the iPhone at home. Then I transfer it later.

I think my next phone will be an iPhone...hopefully I can transfer the data then without a problem. But I would like to suggest to the guy (developer) that he add a "Pocket Hit" checkbox. It would be very easy to do...and a very easy stat for the phone to track. And from that, you'd end up with Pocket Carry and Double % as stats as well...just by adding the Pocket Hit checkbox and being able to track Pocket %. It would also be nice if it could track speed and rpms...and give the bowler some idea of how much release variation they are experiencing...but that might require more than the simple app can handle.
