Here are my first 3 week scores

9/14: 149-177-178 = 504 or 168 average
This is a new house shot more oil. Used my Iq Tour Nano and then Rocket. Just had issues hitting my shot, getting the hook. Had t go down and in till it dried up in last game. 1/1 on ten pin

9/21: 210-152-203 = 564 or 188 average
Had a Roto Grip Haywire drilled up. No problem getting this guy to hook. Got to throw my usual shot. Started of great, slipped a little and then foot going again in the last game. 1/2 on ten pin making it 2/3 for season. In the second game was getting a few splits.

9/28: 221-215-212 = 648 or 216 average
Had it going today. Threw several strings of 3 or more strikes in a row. Many pocket hits and even when it was a little high or low still got them all. 1/1 on the ten pin making it 3/4 for the season. Practiced a lot on this pin! Hope it continues.

Haven't posted since third week of league so here is my catch up post....

Week 4: 157-167-154: 159 average. Just a mess couldn't do anything right.
Week 5: 196-171-147: 171 average
Week 6: 135-192-187: 172 average
Week 7: 172-176-164: 170 average
Week 8: 140-144-211: 165 average
Week 9: 139-177-245: 187 average
Week 10: 179-200-168: 182 average
Week 11: 178-300-195: 224 average

Seems I always go through a slump about this time of year. But I am happy about the last 3 weeks. Hopefully it continues. But my low score is still low, need to get it back up.

I have also been filling in every other week across the boarder in Kenosha. During my three weeks I have done fairly well. The lanes are kept up much better.

Week 1: 189-221-161: 190 average
Week 2: 179-150-198: 175 average
Week 3: 224-186-141: 180 average

Actually remembering to post scores after bowling. Lol. See if I remember after Monday's league.

Sunday Kenosha League( fill in every other week)

149-220-177 = 546 or 182 average

Game 1: couldn't figure it till late. Threw 4 splits. I wa coming up light so decided to throw slower and it helped to win the first game.

Game 2: started off with 6 strikes. Team didn't do so well as we lost the game by 100, after giving them 93.

Game 3: on and off game. But came up in the 10th to win the game. Though we lost points.

I need to remember to start of slower on speed here. Lanes are good, but as I only bowl every other week, hard to stay consistent.

Monday Nite League 11/30

189-187-168

Started off well. Use my IQ Nano Tour. First time in a while. 2nd game I switch to Haywire then back to the Nano. Last game started with Nano but at end lanes were to burnt, should of went to the Hyroad, but didn't and it cost me.

Monday Night League 12/7/15

Probably my best overall night of bowling in a while 1) 229 2) 232 3) 198 = 659 or 219 average

Game 1: threw 3 turkeys in the game. Just felt right. Clean game

Game 2: opened with a pocket 7-10 split, struck 7 in a row and then a guy n the other team when I was going through the my routine was talking about it. I know it shouldn't bother me but it bugged me. I then throw a split on the first ball in the 10th

Game 3: started well but then encountered a few splits.

I bought some new shows, nothing great but got the Brunswick Stealth. Wanted something more gym shoe like that my dexters. They felt great. Think they helped a bit. A little more bounce in my step.

Sunday League: Every other week Sub 12/13/15

175-209-148 = 532 or 177 average

Game 1: two opens killed the game. Missed a 10 pin which I couldn't pick up during warm ups
Game 2: striking a little t more, still had three opens.
Game 3: couldn't strike at all. Several splits. Blahh blah blah

Hopefully Monday league will. Be like last week,

12/14/15 Monday Night League

153-203-169 = 525 or 175 average

Game 1: Couldn't get the ball to come up. Had a few splits and just went down hill.
Game 2: Switched from Haywire to IQ Nano Tour and started off with 4 strikes and then missed a 10 pin. Happy with this game though had another open not to happy about.
Game 3: Nano was burning up early so switched back to Haywire. Wasn't striking and had some bad opens.

The day before I bowled on another league and then a 9 no tap. Might of been too much as I was tired. Hopefully get it up again next week.

Game 2: (190) only opens were two splits, both 7-10. Problems striking. Only one connecting.
Game 3: (213) after opening with two opens, I struck 5 together.

Sunday League 12/27/15

191-199-137 = 527 or 175 average

Been struggling o put together 3 solid games of late. After the first two I thought that would change, but during the last game I just fell apart. Threw some splits and missed right side spare combos numerous times by chopping them.

Lately been having my Haywire having problems getting to the pocket but had it baked and helped a lot. Can't wait to use in Monday night at a different house.

12/28/15 Monday Night League

158-179-193 = 530 or 176 average

Still struggling to put 3 solid games together. Frustrating.

Game 1: (158). For the first 5 frames I couldn't be any connectors. The right lane I had issues on. Wasn't the lane, was me. I was splitting and left some 10 pins. I've been doing fine on the 10 pin, just not last night.

Game 2: (179). Finally started connecting more. Strikes were coming and splits were going. Left the 9th and 10thnframes open! Crap.

Game 3: (193). Clean game, finally. Strikes more, converted more. More like it!

Filling in tonite so going to focus a lot more on hitting my mark and slowing things down.

12/29/15 Tuesday League

This is a newer league that I have been filling in for the last two weeks and was asked to be on full time as one of ther bowlers is out with injury. Tonight was the 3rd time I bowled with them.

195-196-214 = 605 or 201 average

Game 1: (195) solid game with the exception of 3 splits! But I was able to double twice and then threw a 3 bagged. Only if I didn't toss the splits! But I deserved them as. Didn't hit my target among other things.

Game 2: (196) solid again! One split, again my fault.

Game 3 (214) good game! One open in which was a 9-10 where I hit the 10! I hate that. But I hit a lone 10 pin which others on my time didn't do several times. Was an on going joke for the night how one guy had 8 10 pins tonight not hit a few of them.

Tonight I also used That Purple Stuff. I used it after each shot. Used it on a microfiber towel. They suggest a pad they sell which I agree. Didn't have to use much and agree that it works. Ball stayed tacky all night. Hit pins hard. I'm a fan!

1/3/16: Sunday League

279-192-175 = 646 or 215 average

Game 1: (279) strikes in the first then 9/ in the second and then 9 strikes in a row before throwing a 9 to end the game. During warm ups I couldn't hit the pocket, in the game couldn't miss.

Game 2: (192) shot pretty well except for missing a 7 pin to start.

Game 3: (175) had a few opens from a split and a chopped 6-9. In the 10ththre a split.

One of my goals for the new year was to throw More 600's. This is back to back 600's from Tuesday league to Sunday league. See how it goes tomorrow.

1/4/16 Monday League

139-211-186 = 536

Game 1: hit the first two for strikes, but in the third, my feet clipped each other and threw it in the gutter. Down hill from there. Splits, missed 10's.

Game 2: much better. Struck more, but. A few opens and then struck out in the 10th.

Game 3: struggled again lol striking out in the 10th.

I have a hard time of late bowling Monday night. The guys on the time aren't so great, so at times I wonder if I bowl den to them as my other leagues been doing better as they are better bowlers.

We bowled a team who's best guy averaged 161. We got our butts kicked majorly. Their high scorer, shot 11 strikes in a row before shooting a 9 for a 299. He then shot a 235 and then a 156 Shot a 690! Over 200 pins over averGe! It was nuts.

197-161/236 = 594 or 194 average
Game 1: solid game. Hit my 10 pin. Was striking.

Game 2: totally fell apart. Had 4 solid pocket 10's and missed them all.i tend to throw hard and when I slow down I get them.

Game 3: one open, yes a 10 in the 9th which messed up a good game to a great one. Opened with strike then a couple spares and then a 5 bagged before the open 9th.

We bowled the blind so I go my 3 of 4 points. We took all the games as well. Will be working on my 10's this week.

1/10/16: Sunday League

189-214-222 = 625 or 208 average

Game 1: two opens, but struck out to get. Decent score. Problems striking till the 8th where I just added more speed.

Game 2: two opens again. Both splits

Game 3: stuck pretty well. Clean game.

My goal for new year was more 600s and got two back to back here at this center. Over all this is a better bowler league. Tomorrow is a decent league, but I've been struggling. It's at a different center, but I bowl at that center on Tuesdays as well and do better that night, again with better bowlers. Trying to figure the struggle there 5 weeks missing average.

Flat out bad! First game was splitting, couldn't figure it out at all. Game 2, only got there as I struck out the 10th. Missing spares. Last game was good, but too little too late.

1/19/16: Tuesday Night League

180-170-246 596 or 198 average

Games 1 and 2 weren't great. Bad opens throughout. Game 3 was great. Three turkeys!

Both nights were at the same house. Monday night team isn't great. Simple scoring system in which team gets 2 points for each win and 1 point for overall. Tuesday night, team much better and scoring relies more on each person beating out who they bowl against. I'm kinda thinking I concentrate more bowling with better people and with more weight in shoulders. I get to bowl Sunday which I have two 600s Ina row. More competitive league than Monday! See how it goes.

Starting the season just one. Then I was asked to join Sunday's everyother week as someone got hurt and me and another guy switch off. But I bowled the last 5 weeks Ina row before this past Sunday. I also took over for someone else who got hurt on Tuesday. I've been bowling the last 6 weeks. So two regularly and then one everyother Sunday. So in all 3.

Sunday League : 1/24/16

Well my streak of 600 series ended at two, but still shot above average and series of 584 (194)

199-188-197

Shot we'll through the, just some bad timing splits. Game 1 I was strike a ton but two opens. Game 2 I didn't strike till the 6th and last game struck more but far less than game one. The right lane was playing different, had to slow it down to get in pocket. Came up big in game 1 and two at anchor to seal the win. Took all the points as a team!was position round and we did what we had to do.

Tomorrow is my struggle night. Last week I shot 493 when I average 182. Going to start out with my IQ Nano when I usually start with Haywire. Wish me luck!

Monday Night League: 1/25/16

This is the night I have been struggling in for 6 weeks only hitting average once and shooting 494 last week, 52 points below average.

Tonight: 247-151-211

Game 1: 247 - Since I've been struggling, I started off with IQ Tour Nano. It was the right choice. Crushing the pocket from the start. Hit the first 3 then 9 spared and then first ball gutter to follow! I then closed with 7 strikes in a row.

Game 2: 151 - I lost focus and wasn't hitting my target. I was just sparing and no strike till 7th. This ball just burned up the lanes. I should of switched to Haywire to open the game.

Game 3: 211 - Switched to Haywire and got the first 3. I had all pocket hits, but left several 10's which luckily. Picked up and even got a pocket 7-10.

Tomorrow I tend to better in. But I'm going to try start with the Nano and then Haywire in the 2nd. Hopefully the slump is over.

Tuesday League: 1/26/16

187-223-193 = 603 or 201 average

Game 1: Warmed up with IQ Nano but wasn't hitting pocket so started with Haywire. Opened with front 3 and then split and then had another bad open later on.

Game 2: Couldn't get the Haywire to me much, seemed many were having issues so switched to Nano. struck first two and then spared for a bit before striking 4 in a row. I realized I wasn't getting the ball out far enough before it started to hook. This ball had no problems hooking.

Game 3: Nano started burning up, switched back to Haywire. Struck more than spared. Had two 7-10 pocket hits. Killer.

We played the first place team and took 18 of 30 points. Hopefully the 600's keep coming. Feels good back to back nights. No bowling till next Monday.

203-197-193 = 593 or 197 average

Game 1: opened with IQ Nano as it worked for me last week. Played well until7th where I left a 10 pin. Struck 4 in a row in this game.

Game 2: two opens, a spli and 10 pin. Been doing well on the corners but tonight missed two.

Game 3: another split open.

Overall happy. Been struggling Monday nights, but last week got a 600 and tonight just missed, but shot 47 over average. Tried to go to Haywaire in third but wasn't hooking for me. Been experimenting with adding some quick steps to my approach to add spead, may be taking the hook out a bit. See how it goes tonight.

Sunday League: 2/7/2016

199-242-177 = 618 or 206 average

Game 1: Started with an open after striking a lot in warm ups. I marked out but after doubling in the 10th I threw a 6 for a 199. No one gets a 199 right?

Game 2: Started with a double then a spare and then 4 in a row and closing with a turkey. Had an open late but came up with a 242.

Game 3: Opened twice in the first 4 then another in 8th. Struggled, didn't strike much. But pulled out a 177.

I really enjoy bowling at this house. This house is in Kenosha and is really taken care of, where as where I bowl Monday and Tuesday and the house isn't even close. This is a better league, better team, I think is a reason why I bowl better there. I bowl every other Sunday here filling in. Was asked to be full time next year which I agreed. Monday Night League: 2/8/16

231-254-215 = 700 or 233 average

Gam 1: started with IQ Nano as the last two weeks it had done well. Solid hits to the pocket. Missed only a ten pin. Had a 4 bigger and many other doubles.

Game 2: stayed with the Nano. By the end had to add some more speed. Had another 4 bigger and a turkey. Struck out in the 10th. Everything went right.

Game 3: started with Nano again. Usually I have to change it up. Moved 4 boards before switching to haywire in 5th where I got my first strike. Had a turkey and ended with another turkey before throwing a split and barely picking up the 7 pin to get the 215 to get my 700

The last three weeks I have been doing great considering for the month before I couldn't do anything. As mentioned, been starting with the Nanoand then to the Haywire. It's been working so why change it. Will do again tomorrow at the same house. A week from Saturday is the county tournament at the same house so hopefully I will have some momentum, though I hear the mix the pattern up a lot for it.

Game 2: good game, missed a damn 10 pin. And another bad open in 9th.

Game 3: got tired. Couldn't stay focus, but struck twice n 10th to seal the point.

Started the night with the nano and switched in 2nd rate of the 3 rd game to Haywire. Seems to be the way I have been playing lately on Monday and Tuesday. No games till next Monday so should get a nice rest. Don't plan on raft icing as I don want t get burned out.

Monday Night League: 2/15/2016

213-263-184 = 660 or 220 average

Game 1: As with the last month, started with the IQ Nano. Starts with a pair of strikes and ended the clean game with a few more!

Game 2: Stayed with the Nano along wi 2 strikes, then a spare before 7 strikes in a row which took me to the 2nd shot of the 10th which I threw a split.

Game 3: Nano did me well in the 1 st two games so what do I do? Go with Haywire. Couldn't strike but spared till I had two opens Ina row which I should of gotten. Switched back to Nano and had a 4 bagged before a spare.

Don't know why I went with Haywire after e Nano did me well. This shot is the same shot that will be used for the county tournament at the same house in Saturday. Haywire hadn't been doing me too well lately here. Works great for Sunday league. It's getting a little shine on it even after cleaning it. May need to bake it. But overall happy how I have shot over the last month on Monday as the prior month I had major issues. Started season with 170 average, right now I have a 186 average. My goal was 180. Hoping to stay at 185 to end the season.

189-243-188 = 620 series or 206 average

Game 1: Started with the IQ Nano but was having problems finding the pocket. Making spares except for a split. Finally got a strike in the 6th and then had a few more.

Game 2: Got the 1st 3 frames then spared, two bagger, split and closed with 5 bagger!

Game 3: Struggled. Feeling a little pain in my planting foot, I don't slide.

I got all but 1/2 a point from the guy i was bowling against. He gave me 22 points, but in game 2 it didnt matter. Also got my point beating him on points straight up. This was my 10th week in the league, average is 191. Out of the 10 weeks I shot 4 600 series (3 in last 4 weeks), 5 mid to high 500 series and very first week didn't even get 500. Out of the last 4 times I bowled in of the 3 leagues I have 8 600 series, 1 700 series and 2 high 500 series and a 520. Not too shabby!

Started and finished the game with the new ball, Storm Fight. The ball really hits and did great on the fresh. Used the Fight on all except far right 1 and 2 pin spares. Made all 10 pins! In the third, the Fight was too strong for the break down. Haywire was getting backed and won't get back till tomorrow. Game three I struggle big time. Far less strikes than thirst two games and some bad opens.

In the last game one guy on the other team 9/ the first frame and struck out for 290. Their anchor threw the first ten and then 7/! Fun to watch!

Did you have it polished, or stick with the stock finish?

I left it out of box finish. It was first time I was really able to bowl with it. Only one practice session before. Need more practice time with it, but glad I got it.

186-192-224 = 602 or 200 average

Lanes were slightly different tonight and u wasn't hitting my mark. Started with Fight then moved to Nano quickly in first game. Struggled all game all around but was able to pull out a 186 in game one and securing my point against the guy I was bowling against. In the second game, I moved to the Haywire in the third frame. A teammate baked it for me, twice. He said the first time so much oil cam out and ball was still covered in oil and second time much less came out. Took a frame or two before I got used to it again and ended up with a 192 and got another point. In game three, I threw two opens to kick of the game before throwing a 7 bragger. I then had a solid pocket 10 to end the run. Ended with a 224 to get a mother point. After struggling for the first two games, only getting three points total, we swept the third game and ended the match tied with 15 points a piece.

Lanes were different than last night. Higher level bowlers, some thought slightly different shot.

Was an average day. Wasn't striking much at all. Some bad splits but converted two of them. Hit my 10 pin. Used the Haywire tonight. The Nano the last two weeks wasn't working as it used to. Really wasn't into it tonight. Tomorrow is a now day, half day of teaching at school so hopefully I'll be feel it more. Shot above average by 17 pins. Still up 17 pins from last year. 6 weeks to go!

Agree. As long as it wasn't below average. 6 weeks left and if I can keep my average where it is I will be very happy. But another point or two would be great!!

210-224-168 = 602 or 200 average

For the 1st two games I used the Fight. Worked well. I switched to Haywire in last game and didnt work for me too well. Honestly it was me pulling my shots and all. I was 2/2 on 10 pins. Been shooting less of them lately which is nice. Had some bad splits, but again picked some up. Missed some spares I should of made. I should of stuck it out with the fight. But overall, ahot above average, got a few points for my team. Sunday, I finally get to bowl again in league at a different house. Interested in seeing how the Fight works there.

135-187-227 = 549 or 183 average

Started with the Fight as it was first time to bowl with it at this house. Didn't do bad, I just missed spares I should of made, lack of concentration. 5 opens! OUCH! Game two I switched to the Haywire and had two opens, 10 pins! Struck a lot more! Last game I killed it! No opens! I usually play all 3 at this house with the Haywire and will continue to do so. I bowl here every other week, this was first time in a month however! 3 more times for me there!

Monday Night League: 3/7/16

156-197-188 = 541 or 180 average

First time in 7 weeks I didn't hit average! I just found out the shot has been changed the last 4 weeks as the county tournament is hosted there, this Saturday is the end of it, I'm bowling singles and doubles. I usually start with the IQ Nano and then go with the Haywire, but haven't been able to do so the last 4 weeks. I gave the Nano a chance today and after 5 frames I switched to the Fight! The Fight is where I will need to start with till or if the shot is changed back. Once I switched to the Fight I did much better with some bad breaks in the 9th, pocket 10's and poor 10 pin shooting. Tomorrow, I'm back at this house, with my better league team. I generally bowl better with this team, we'll see how it goes.

Bowled the entire night with the Fight, had to add speed to keep using it in game 3. Game 1 had back to back opens, missed 10 and a chop and another in 9th, had to strike out to get the 182. Game 2 and 3 had several strikes including a 5 bagger and 4 bagger mixed with some doubles. Even won brackets, even with the 182! Bowl again at same house tomorrow and back in WI for Sunday Funday!

Poor shooting in warm-ups usually means a good series for me. And it was. Several strikes, an open here and there, but nothing major. We took 5 of 7 points.
Well this was my Sunday a I split this league with another guy. Only one or two more times for me in this league. Hoping to join full time next season as I reallly like bowling at this house.
Bowled throughout with the Haywire.

183-215-150 = 548 or 182 averge

The last three times I bowled at this house in league I have been struggling! I came back at the end of game one to pull out an 183 by striking out from the 9th. Game two I hit the front 5 then guttered! Picked up the spare and then got the next three. Last game everyone on my team had problems.

Went in to practice today and continued to struggle. So I tore it part starting with my feet. Lately I have been taking two slow steps, then two fast followed by a slow step. I was doing well with that till the last two weeks. So today, I kept all 5 steps slow and threw in the 200's each game. I don't bowl this Sunday, we do have league, just not my week that I share with someone else. So I will try keeping my feet slow in league on Monday and see how it goes.

Wow! What a night makes. 119 pin difference. We had a league meeting and I didn't go, just the captain and one other. Best decision ever! While waiting for meeting to be over, a guy on my Sunday league at adifferent house was resurfacing his dad's bowling ball I mentioned how I was having issues and he did my Haywire and IQ Nano. The Haywire gathered a shine so he took that off. The Nano hasn't been working for me for over a month and he did that as well and stuck it in the machine for a shine. And they both destroyed the pins. Game 1 was the first time using the Haywire and after getting use to it I shot very well. Missed a easy split but I was getting use to the wway it was moving. Stayed with it half way through as oil was done. Think the center is sparing the oil to make it last the season. Switched to the Nano and killed it. We were in a roll off to see who makes it the championship match and after splitting evenly the first two games, we turned it up a notched and put scored them by over 140 pins and took a ton of points. Can't wait to use these balls on Monday where I have been really struggling.

Struggled hard n the first game starting with the Haywire which was recently resurfaced. The resurfing wasn't the issue, i just couldn't hit my mark and had a few opens. Game two and three used my Nano which I haven't used at this house before, also resurfaced. Did better, but had a few bad open. Had few strikes, but again not hitting my mark.

We were bowling to make the wild card and we won all our points except first game as the bowler before me and myself struggled. Struck out but lost by 3. The guy before me who is a 200 average bowler shot am139. Lol

Last game I was back on, got the front 6 before sparing a few times then striking.
All night used the newly resurfaced Haywire. Next week we have off as mostly everyone is going to Reno, then we finish the following week. Tomorrow, my team starts the playoffs, hopefully tonight will carry over!

195-215-217 = 627 or 219 average

Tonight, we had the first round of, playoffs against the bowling centers owners, father and son. The owner average 220 and the anchor is also a 220 bowler. For playoffs, it's total pins, though points still count for overall standings and $.

Tonight, I bowled all night with the Haywire as it worked for me the night before. I struggle game 1 with a split and blown 10 pin. I picked it up the bowling in the final frames to savage the game. The owner, after took the game by 8 pins plus the 4 I gave him. Game two was different. Found my line, struck much more but again another split. Last game, I bowled well then had problems striking late. I had five in a row, scored striked and should of ball changed in the 7th as the ball was flying by the pins. Stubborn me stayed with Haywire.

Overall, we won game 1 by 26 and game two by 73. Up by 99 starting game three, we felt good about taking the series and moving on to next round, but they struck like crazy and my teammates were have opens. We were able to pull it together and win by 52. Next week we move one. Was a great series and was such a blast. Two more weeks to go.

Security 2nd game we won by 97 so going into last ga,e down by 2 pins. We just got blown out in last game b100 or more. Don't remember as it was so bad. Today we are bowling in the playoffs. If we win, we bowl another match for the championship. If with team wins the first two, they move on.

206-182 =388 (194).
Not much to talk about. Okay games. Main thing was we won and were able to move on to championship match.

224-234-237 = 695 (231). Here we played the ladies team where overall in first place. We had the first game in hand till we couldn't finish the 10th and they did and we lost by 24. In game two, we were able to close and won by 48. In the championship game, we turned it on and striked when they couldn't. we ended up winning league. An Illinois team winning their Wiconsin league. They weren't too happy.

As for me, each game I was able to strike several times. Had 5 baggers in each game. Only few opens. Felt good.
This league is over, Monday is last day for that league as is Tuesday.
