just watching( in england we dont get bowling so eveything is you tube) watching belmo against tom daugherty. does tom not use his thumb? seems to put his fingers in then bowl.

Yes Tom Daugherty doesn't use his thumb. I believe that helps him get the massive revs on his ball. I tried throwing it like that once and I requires quite a bit of strength to keep the ball steady.
