I was lured into buying a new ball, I hope it will compliment my current lineup because it's a little different than the existing balls and I sort of choose it
because of the success I had last year (at times) with another pearl ball (Roto-Grip Hyper cell skid 15lb) it just blew the pins out and created pin action like nothing else I ever had, but I sometimes struggled with controlling the big back-end hook.

I don't know very much about the different drilling options and am wondering what options might make the most sense for me.
The new ball is a Storm IQ tour 30th edition 14 lb
I would be considered an average speed mid to low rev stroker.

Current balls I am using Storm Hy-Road 2000 polish , DV8 Diva Divine OOB 4000 matte, and DV8 Outcast OOB 1500 polish
All the current balls are 14lb and drilled pin up but I don't know exact measurements.

I appreciate any information that anyone would have to offer.

I bought an IQ Tour 30 as well and it's pretty nice so far.
Your pro shop should be able to explain drilling options and get your new ball set up for you.
I suppose it's a matter of fitting it into what you already have for equipment.
Storm offers their Vector Layout System in an Excel spreadsheet format here: http://www.stormbowling.com/drill-specs/Storm_VLS_-_Vector_Layout_System_legacy.xls
This may help you get an idea of how to layout your ball yourself. There is a video on the VLS on Storm's web site as well or you can find it on YouTube.
Hope this helps...

I agree with the above comment. Go to your pro shop and they should be able,to help you out greatly. Let them know what you want it to do and have them watch you throw down the lanes.
