Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 256 - Had a good line just got a little fast and a couple shots.
Game 2: 189 - Line from the first game disappeared and struggled to find the pocket. We bowled a team of straight bowlers throwing plastic balls which pushed the break point down a little.
Game 3: 199 - Played a lot deeper then I am used to but it worked out pretty well. Started out with the front 4 but missed back to back ten pins which threw me off my game for the last few frames.
Series 644 - Not a bad night but after that first game I thought I would have a good night. I'll take it though. Need to start making my adjustments at the first signs of the lanes breaking down instead of trying to make up for it by throwing harder.

Tuesday Night Mens
Game 1: 247 - Started back to back ten pins and had two more in the 6th and second frame of the 10th
Game 2: 239 - Similar to the first game but the ten pins turned into 7's and 9's
Game 3: 222 - Started with the front 4 but then started to get a little fast with my ball speed.
Series: 708 - It was a good night. My team split but that was all we needed to do to lock up first for the half. Makes the positioning round next week less stressful.

Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 180 - Couldn't string anything together and left the 4-9 split back to back.
Game 2: 223 - Better game but I still wasn't releasing the ball the way I wanted. I kept coming up the side of the ball.
Game 3: 236 - Fixed my release by the 3rd frame but still made some mental mistakes.
Series: 639 - Not a bad night but that first game hurt.

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 188 - Started off with a good line but started to get to fast and left some ugly splits.
Game 2: 224 - Moved in deeper in the 4th frame to try to force my self to slow down and it worked.
Game 3: 185 - Struggled with the carry down and did not make the right adjustments.
Series: 597 - Just a bad night. Took to long to make the correct adjustments and paid for it.

Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 247 - 4-9 split in the 2nd on a ball I pulled and a 10 pin first ball in the 10th
Game 2: 245 - 4-9 split in the 4th followed by a 10 pin and a 10 pin on my second ball of the 10th
Game 3: 208 - Once again started getting fast and pulled a couple shots but had a clean game.
Series: 700 - Should have been higher but it was still a good night. We won all four and won the first half by 10.5 games.

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 233 - First time throwing the Primal Rage Remix and it has more backend then any ball I have so it took a couple frames to find my line.
Game 2: 247 - Pulled a couple shots but was able to string some strikes together
Game 3: 256 - Started with a double then pulled it and left the 4-7. Struck till the tenth and left a ten pin and an 8 pin.
Series: 736 - Team won all four to start the second half which was nice. Got the Remix mainly for this league because there are a lot of straight bowlers pushing oil down but after last night I think I will try it out in my 5 man league tonight.

Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 235 - Started with the front 5 then left the 4-9 split and strung a couple more strikes after that
Game 2: 247 - Started out with the front 6 and pulled the ball then lost it a little to end the game
Game 3: 264 - Front 9 and got a little soft went through the nose and left the 4-9 and completely missed it.
Series 746 - Really good night but I messed up getting my first 300 again. Threw the Primal Rage Remix again and couldn't be happier with the ball. When the lanes brake down I usually change to a less aggressive ball but I just moved left with this ball and it was destroying the pins. Through six games with the Remix I have only left 1 ten pin and I usually leave 5-6 a night. Team won 3 of 4 points which I was happy with because we were giving them 333 pins a game.

Nice set. I've only seen a couple of guys throwing the Remix and haven't been nearly as impressed with it as I was the Red Ball. Glad too see it's working for you.

Thanks guys. Amyers I was originally going to get the Red Ball but my PSO told me that because I can get a little fast with my ball speed that the Remix was a better option. I still might try to get it at some point because it does have more length which could help on dryer conditions.

Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 207 - The left lane kept offsetting the 1 and 5 pins so we had to rerack multiple times throughout the night which sucked. Left 3 ten pins and an 8-10 first ball of the tenth which ruined a good game.
Game 2: 233 - Left a 4-9 in the 4th frame and pulled a couple shots.
Game 3: 214 - 8-10 first ball in the 10th frame again to mess up a good game.
Series: 654 - Could have been a lot better night but caught some bad breaks. Frustrating night but it could have been worse I guess. As a team we lost 3 of 4 which was a tough pill to swallow . We had a chance to split but my 8-10 split in the tenth sealed the deal. Lost the series by 9.

Game 1: 236 - Left the Greek Church in the 8th frame.
Game 2: 244 - Got a little fast on a couple shots but had a clean game.
Game 3: 208 - Had a couple ten pins, a 9 pin and left the big 4.
Series: 688 - Good Night and the team took 4.

Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 170 - Started out ok then missed back to back ten pins which threw me off and followed that up with the big 4.
Game 2: 161 - Everything started going downhill. Couldn't slow my feet down and was throwing it about 1.5mph faster then I should be
Game 3: 224 - Finally slowed down and had a decent game. Chopped the 6-10 in the 8th.
Series 555 - Lowest series in about 3 years. Just got in my own head after the first game. Team still won 3 of 4 so I will just try to forget about it.

Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 253 - Good game but I pulled a couple shots.
Game 2: 211 - Opened in the 10th that ruined what could have been another good game.
Game 3: 177 - Again I started sprinting to the line for some reason and struggled to slow down.
Series: 641 - The night started out good but the 3rd game was a struggle. Team won 3 of 4. I will get some practice to figure out the speed issue that I have run into. Hopefully I will get it fixed before my next league night. Dropped 2 pins on Tuesday and 1 on Wednesday

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 191 - I was working on slowing my approach down to drop my ball speed but it took a little to get my swing in sync with my steps.
Game 2: 246 - a couple 10 pins in the beginning and chopped the 6-10 in the 4th. Struck up to the last ball where I left the 4-9
Game 3: 206 - Split in the 9th and 10th.
Series: 643 - Still trying to fix a couple things with my approach but it wasn't a bad night. Team won 3 of 4

BrianG
01-20-2016, 09:20 AM
Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 236 - Had a good line but pulled a couple shots and left some 4 pins.
Game 2: 216 - Left a 8 pin and 9 pin in the 3rd and 6th frame and a 4-9 split in the 9th.
Game 3: 179 - The lanes broke down for 20 minutes in the 2nd frame and again in the 7th for another 10 minutes in the 7th which threw me off a little mentally.
Series: 631 - Not a bad night but not a good night either. Because of the lanes breaking down we finished really late and the league that was coming in after us was not happy. Team lost all 4.

BrianG
01-21-2016, 09:20 AM
Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 234 - Got a little fast in the middle of the game and left some weak 10 pins. I lowered the ball to about my waist in my set up to help keep my ball speed down and it helped a lot.
Game 2: 216 - Left an 8 pin, 9 pin, and 10 pin in the 4th 5th and 6th frames which was frustrating but still not a bad game.
Game 3: 201 - Started with the front 5 then left the 4-9 split. Struck next ball then went back to back 10 pins and missed the first one. 10th frame I threw it out to far and it hit a dry spot and took off leaving me the 3-10 and I missed it. Horrible finish to this game.
Series: 651 - Could have been a lot better but made some stupid mistakes. Team won all 4 and put us back near the top of the standings going into a positioning round.

BrianG
01-26-2016, 08:56 AM
Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 236 - Started with the Remix but after 5 frames of trying to find a line I put it away because it was just taking off once it hit its break point. Switched to the Crux and struck out from the 6th.
Game 2: 223 - Had a couple bad breaks but still a good game.
Game 3: 236 - Left a two 10 pins, a 9 pin, and 2-8.
Series: 695 - The start of the night was looking pretty bad but after the ball change things turned around. Finally had a good night where everything felt right. Team won all 4 which put us in first place.

BrianG
01-27-2016, 09:00 AM
Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 234 - Had a good line but got a little slow on a couple of shots
Game 2: 206 - My line disappeared early on and I took to long to realize I needed to move left.
Game 3: 236 - Left two 10 pins and two 9 pins.
Series: 676 - It was a good night but could have been better if I made the right adjustments at the right time in the second game. Team won 3 of 4 and moved into a tie for 1st.

Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 236 - Started with the front 6 and then missed a 10pin. Went downhill from there.
Game 2: 203 - Left a lot of ringing 10 pins no matter what adjustment I made. Also left a 4-9 that I failed to convert.
Game 3: 237 - Started with the front 5 then I started leaving 10 pins again.
Series: 676 - Back to back 676's which is the first time I have ever done that. Good night but I just couldn't carry the 10 pin and I missed one (8/9). Second game was a struggle again but not a bad game. It was a positioning round and we were in second but lost all 4 which sucks.

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 217 - Clean game but didn't strike until the 6th frame.
Game 2: 244 - Left the 9 pin, 4 pin, 10 pin and a 7 count last ball.
Game 3: 200 - Couldn't get the corner pins to fall this game. Tried to adjust but nothing was working. Frustrating end to the night.
Series: 661 - Good night. Didn't have any opens but every time I got in a groove I would leave a ten pin. My team lost 3 of 4 which put us 2 games back of first going into a positioning round.

BrianG

Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 226 - Had a good line but let the ball get too far outside on a couple shots and it didn't recover.
Game 2: 181 - Chopped the bucket and left two 7-10 splits. After the second 7-10 I made a ball change and moved but it was too late for this game.
Game 3: 244 - The move at the end of the second gave me a good line but made a couple of mental mistakes.
Series: 651 - It ended up being a pretty good night thanks to the last game. We lost the second game by 36 and I was 39 pins under average so it was my fault because everyone else hit their average. Team took 3 of 4 though so it was a good night for the team.

BrianG

Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 233 - There was a lot of oil on the lanes to start the night so i had to play up the 5 board to start. Pulled a couple and went through the nose.
Game 2: 260 - Was able to move left and swing it a little. Had the front 6 then split and struck up to the 12th ball and left the 7 pin.
Game 3: 213 - Started with three 4 pins and a 10 pin. Changed balls and was able to save the game.
Series: 706 - From the way things were going in practice I thought it was going to be a struggle to hit average but it ended up being a good night. Team lost 3 of 4.

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 201 - Couldn't string anything together. I was playing a lot deeper then I am used to and tugged a few shots.
Game 2: 203 - Tried to make my line from the first game work which was a mistake. Changed balls and moved right after the 6th frame.
Game 3: 246 - The line I played at the end of the second game held up for the 3rd and I was able to save my night.
Series: 650 - Another night where I tried to play a line I wasn't comfortable with and just wanted to make it work. Should have realized halfway through the first game that it wasn't going to work but I was to stubborn to stop trying.

BrianG
02-11-2016, 11:04 AM
Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 220 - Started with the front 5 but the next two ball on the left lane were the 4-7-10 split and 6-7-10 split.
Game 2: 208 - Left the 4-7-10 again in the 3rd frame and the 4-9 in the 6th.
Game 3: 216 - Clean game just couldn't string anything together.
Series: 644 - Kept throwing my ball too far out and it would hit a dry spot and take off and go through the nose leaving me with splits. Not a bad night but the splits killed me the first two games. Team lost 3 of 4.

BrianG
02-17-2016, 09:23 AM
Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 176 - Bad game. I tried to play a new line that was farther left then I am comfortable with because of how dry the lanes were and I just couldn't hit my mark. Went through the nose a lot and left 3 splits.
Game 2: 234 - Switched to the Rage Remix and moved a little right and threw it harder and it worked. Should have started with that but I wanted to try something new.
Game 3: 198 - Went through the nose twice and left the 4-9 and 4-10. Left a couple 10 pins and just couldn't string anything together.
Series: 608 - It was just an off night and besides the second game nothing felt right in my release. Team won 3 of 4 so I didn't really hurt the team.

BrianG
02-18-2016, 09:35 AM
Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 276 - The lanes were pretty dry so I had to throw my ball around 18.5mph when I usually throw 17. Left a 10 pin in the 5th and 7 count on my last ball.
Game 2: 245 - 7 count in the 5th and 10 pin in the 9th and on the last ball of the 10th
Game 3: 209 - Started 8 pin, split, 8 pin, 3 in a row. After that I couldn't carry 10.
Series: 730 - It was a good night. I had a line that I was comfortable playing and I knew I could consistently hit my mark. Team won all 4 but we are still in the middle of the pack in the standings. Hopefully we can start making some moves in the next couple weeks.

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 170 - My release was really inconsistent and i kept throwing it out to far and it wouldn't come back. Finally fixed it in the tenth.
Game 2: 289 - Threw my 11th ball a little fast and came in light leaving the 7 pin. Everyone stopped bowling when I was in the 10th which I hate and it might have gotten to me a little bit.
Game 3: 201 - Couldn't carry 10 in the first half of the game and chopped the 6 off of the 6-10 in the 9th.
Series: 660 - Not a bad series but the first game really hurt. As a team we split and are 4 games out of first.

Everyone stopped bowling when I was in the 10th which I hate and it might have gotten to me a little bit.

That's one of the advantages to the league I'm in. Seems like everyone but myself has a 300 games (or multiple). No one stops bowling just because another guy is on one.

Very nice game BrianG.
I like when everyone gives lane courtesy after the first 8 or 9 in a row. It then is down to the bowler, his ball and his shot making. :)
Monday, I had the courtesy after the front 8, and in the 9th hit light and left the 6 sawed off in the gutter with the top of the pin still on the lane in front of the 10 pin that was still standing.
The headpin wrapped off the left sidewall, came rolling across the lane and T-boned the top of the downed 6 pin, without dropping the 10 pin.
Of course, I smashed the 10th, three times for a 279. My point is, I liked the courtesy, and your league mates were trying to help you in your attempt to get a 300.
Next time you will likely succeed.:)

BrianG
02-24-2016, 08:49 AM
Yea I understand what your saying Blacksox and I do appreciate the courtesy but after I threw my 10th ball and went back to the ball return I looked up and everyone in the league was behind my lanes and that's what threw me off a little. I knew I should have just kept my head down but for some reason I looked up. In my other leagues there are higher average bowlers so no one stops bowling if someone is going for it. That's a rough way to leave a 10 pin to break up a 300. It always seems like you need one lucky break to shoot a 300.

Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 258 - Three in a row, 9 pin, Four in a row, 10 pin, Struck out.
Game 2: 267 - Weak 10 pin in the first frame, 8 in a row, went threw the nose and left the 6-10 first ball in the 10th then a 10 pin last ball.
Game 3: 204 - The left lane dried up pretty bad and I left three 4 pins on that lane. Missed a 10 pin and just couldn't string anything together.
Series: 729 - It was a really good night. Everything off of my hand felt good but I didn't make the correct adjustments in the 3rd game. My team won 3 of 4 and we are 2 games out of first.

Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 246 - Left a 10 pin in the 5th frame and missed it. Then a 10 pin in the 9th frame.
Game 2: 210 - Left 6 10 pins and made all of them. Made multiple adjustments and changed balls but couldn't knock it down.
Game 3: 214 - Made another ball change in the 4th frame and was able to string a couple together.
Series: 670 - It was a good night but also incredibly frustrating. I would leave a 10 pin, make an adjustment, strike and then leave a 10 pin again. Team won all 4 tonight which keeps us near the top of the standings.

Game 1: 200 - Had two splits and missed both of them. Couldn't string anything together.
Game 2: 213 - Started off pretty strong but couldn't carry 10 for the second half of the game.
Game 3: 209 - Pretty much the same as the second game.
Series: 622 - I had the flu over the weekend so I was feeling pretty weak. I probably should have taken one more day to rest but decided to bowl anyway. My thumb was a little swollen so I couldn't throw my primal rage remix because the thumb hole was too tight. I'm going to have to get the IT inserts put in my balls so I don't have that problem again. Team won all 4.

Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 212 - Started off good but the line was gone midway through and had to make some adjustments.
Game 2: 193 - The whole right side on both lanes dried up and I kept moving left but the ball would just take off at the breakpoint.
Game 3: 213 - Took out my least aggressive ball and was able to keep it on the right side but left some weak 10's.
Series: 618 - Not a good night but it could have been a lot worse. My thumb was swelling up again so I kept getting it caught in the ball. Team lost all 4 and we are now 5 back from first.

Series: 638 - Couldn't get 10 to fall for most of the night but only had one open.

Tuesday Night Men's
Game 1: 197 - Had a good line but left two 9 pins and two 10 pins. Chopped the 6-10.
Game 2: 239 - 10 pin first frame then 7 in a row. Then threw it a little slow went through the nose and left the big 4.
Game 3: 238 - Started with two 10 pins then two 4 pins. Strung some strikes together at the end of the game.
Series: 674 - First game was a struggle but was able to adjust and find a nice line for the last two games. We were giving our opponents 298 pins a game and somehow managed to win 3 of 4. That puts us 5 back from first with 7 weeks to go.

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 218 - Had a good line but threw two shots too slow and left the Greek church and the 6-7-10.
Game 2: 235 - Moved 3 boards left because the lanes started to dry out. Left an 8 pin, and 9 pin first two balls but was able to strike on my last 6 balls.
Game 3: 215 - Every time I had something going a 10 pin or 9 pin would end it. Still not a bad game.
Series: 668 - It was a good night. The lanes dried up pretty quick but I was able to make the right adjustments and the right time. Striking out in the second game gave my team a win by 3 pins which felt nice to strike when I really needed to. Team won all 4 and 3 back from 1st.

Game 2: 235 - Still had a really good line but I made 3 bad shots.
Game 3: 246 - Had to move a little left but still was having good carry. Front 5 then 4 pin, back to back 10 pins, double, 9 pin.

Game 2: 227 - Had to move left because my line dried up. Left a 10 pin in the 3rd frame and dumped it in the gutter a foot in front of it.
Game 3: 237 - Good game but I missed a 7 pin (can't remember the last time I missed one). Had to strike out in the 10th frame to win by 3 pins but I left a 10 pin on the second ball.
Series: 664 - It wasn't a bad night but the splits and missing a 10 pin and 7 pin hurt. Team won 3 of 4 and the first place team won 3 of 4 so we are still 4 games behind them with 3 weeks left.

Tuesday Night Men's
Series: 575 - Horrible night. Nothing felt right in my release. I may have hit my mark 4 times all night. Left 7 splits. Team won 3 of 4 and are 5 games out of 1st.

Wednesday Night Mixed
Game 1: 206 - Chopped the 6-10 and left the 7-10. Was able to string a couple together to save the game.
Game 2: 194 - Had a good line but I left 4 ten solid ten pins. 10th frame I barely hit the head pin leaving the 2-4-5-7 and didn't pick it up.
Game 3: 257 - Moved right and threw it about 1mph faster. Had the front 7 then 4pin strike 8 pin, 10 pin.
Series: 657 - Last game saved my series but I still dropped a pin in average. Should have made my adjustments earlier on in the night but I was stubborn and paid for it. Team split and are 4 games out of 1st.

Monday Night Mixed
Game 1: 218 - Lanes were soaked. Had to play out around the 5 board to find a dry spot. First ball in the 10th i pushed it out to far and ditched it. Picked up the spare and struck last ball.
Game 2: 236 - Lanes started to break down a little. Had the front 6 then threw the next ball about 1mph to slow and went threw the nose for a split.
Game 3: 200 - Left a couple 10 pins to start the game. Made a ball change that worked pretty well. Left the 4-9 twice.
Series: 654 - Not a bad night. My release has been giving me issues for about 2 weeks and it felt a lot better tonight. Team won all 4 and we are only 2 games back from first with 2 weeks left.
