Lovely weather, tornado's , snow, ice, freezing rain, and 45mph straight line winds.

Where I'm at we have 3 inches of sleet, started at 6am and continues plus 35 mph winds and supposed to get 3 more inches overnight ....
Still it's much better that the people in the path of tornado's and flood waters, I'm starting to think we shoud be building an ark and gathering animals and loading it up with food and supplies ....

Sitting in about 5-8 inches of snow right now. Took an hour and 40 minutes to get from Belgium, WI, to Milwaukee. That's 40 miles, folks.

Was just 2 miles away from where tornado hit in Rowlett, TX on Saturday.
Just across lake from my town. Was able to see the tornado from my back yard.

Pictures aren't the clearest since it was dark out, but got the tornado while it was going through the town with power flashes from electrical transformers it was destroying. Have several friends that lost their homes or severe damage to them. Thankfully they are all safe.

I don't care how much snow we get, I'd take any amount vs a tornado ! Glad to hear you're friends are ok, Vdubtx.

For 30 of my 73 years, I was in the Midwest(Minnesota and Michigan). I can't remember weather as varied and destructive as East of the Rockies is having.
I pray for all and hope the rest of the winter calms down.
The current weather makes it hard to get to the bowling alley and do something fun instead of shoveling snow and mud and debris.

Glad everyone is safe. Crazy weather for this time of year especially.
