I've had to take time off bowling due to a biceps injury and tendinitis in my right arm. My league shut down for the holidays so I'm not missing that, but not practicing is driving me crazy. Need the rest but I miss the game!

There's always the left side of the lane, if it gets too bad;)
And since the right hemisphere of the brain controls the left side of the body only lefties are in their right minds!

His guy at the center I bowl at is good using both arms and I asked him how and why does it. He said he was in a car accident and hurt his right arm where he couldn't bowl, so he started using his left. He has thrown multiple 300's with each hand.

My Mom's uncle was a part-time PBA Pro and made a few shows back in the 1980's. He was truly ambidextrous and could bowl with either hand quite well. One of my coaches new him back then and he was amazed how well he could bowl. My Mom is also ambidextrous and can write with either hand like it's nothing. My left hand is about worthless.

Too bad you didn't get the ambidextrous gene, still might be worth a try if you do end up having to miss an extended amount of time. I bowled lefty for a while due to shoulder surgery. I can write / throw pretty comparably with both hands and my lefty average was about 10-15 pins lower than my normal right handed average.
I figured it was better than sitting out !

My arm is coming along well, and I have another full week before my league starts back up. I'll be ok. Didn't think I'd get this jittery just by sitting out a few weeks. Going to punch holes in another ball next week or so too, so I need to get better !!

I am garbage with my left hand. Went open bowling New Years eve with some fam and had a tournament the next day and didn't want a house ball to tear up my thumb. Never really tried lefty so I gave it a shot. Not even close. Pretty similar story with a golf club. Golf pro right handed and can hardly hit it out of my shadow left handed. Baseball was different though. I was a switch hitter. No power lefty but could slap a single about anywhere I wanted to.

Wii bowling looks like my lefty scores...turrible, just turrible.

I could do that!

I wouldn't.

Back when the Wii was all the rage, we would play hours on end Wii games. Bowling and any of the other sports mostly. That game will for sure mess up your game. I remember one particular stretch where I was 15-20 pins under average due to some bad muscle memory that I retained from Wii bowling.

Well, I made it to league night without bowling at all, even Wii bowling. Was really rusty. Missed 4 single pin spares. Shot 647 so can't complain too much I guess.

Not much to complain about at all. 630 is my season high

Bowled on the end pair they never oil until our league play. Otherwise dry all week. Those lanes seem to absorb all the oil by the midpoint of game two. I'll take the series on that pair.
