These are a pair of custom ball cups made by the pro shop here, I picked the colors. They came out pretty good only $10 for the pair.

Neat stuff! I wish I was able to do stuff like that.

It's the "little things" like this that make me happy.

Edit: We should have an "official" BowlingBoards.com ball cup made! Official color and everything. Once a year, we could have a limited edition (featuring a poster's username) that could be purchased with the proceeds donated to charity.

Looks nice! I was sort of expecting them to have your picture / name embossed into them !

Yeah they look pretty neat, they've been making them for a while now.

It's a clear plastic Brunswick ball cup and then they are using plug material to fill it.

I had wanted one and had picked Black with neon green and pictured it more black with green spots in it.(should have been more specific)

They came up with the darker one first, They weren't sure so made a extra one more just straight neon green. They came out different than I imagined, But I liked them both (The darker one best) anyway. It was one for for $8 or 2 for $10 so I took both.

You could probably put a name in easy enough. I suggested doing a clear and putting in some blinking leds.

That's cool my buddy that got me into bowling loves the color green. I'm going to show him this next time we meet up. The one on the right reminds me of the car paint color Limetime green.

Those are sweet! Wish someone did them around here. Should suggest that they sell them on eBay or somewhere!

How can one order these? I'm interested in at least two and maybe as many as 4-6 if they are custom colors.

I don't think they are doing "orders" it's just a little side project they started doing.

Any proshop should be able to make them, they are just Brunswick clear plastic ball cups filled with ball plug.

They got a nice feel, little heft to them (4 oz.)

I would think you could airbrush the clear plastic on the inside to get a nice custom job also. Cheaper than plug material too.

You probably could.

As for cheaper depends, if you just spray paint the inside sure. But if you started trying to get fancy airbrushing, then your looking at more labor. Then you might have durability issues if the paint chips out etc. (Of course the plug material might pop out too.)

The thing with the plug material, it gives them a nice heft to them.

I feel so low-rent. I use cat food dishes from Dollar Tree.
