And still USBC & PBA hall of famer Glenn Allison's 900 bowled almost 35 years ago on a second shift league is not sanctioned.:confused:

Hard to believe a guy with a 100 rev rate, down and in player could get 36 shots to carry like that. Gives everyone hope.

And I agree with this. His 900 should be sanctioned. The only reason it wasn't was the powers that we're back then didn't want to EVER have a 900 count for anyone.

It sure does!
The only bad mistake he made was the 8th frame of the 3rd game... he pulled the ball and left the 4-10.
But, some pins rolled around and down they went!

Something I never thought I'd see, for sure!
Dale's a great guy, and I am extremely happy for him!
*FOOTNOTE*
I wasn't planning on being the "first" guy to congratulate him, but I was 2 pairs over, and
when he ran out the last shot, he basically ran right into my arms. You can see me hugging
him in the video, but I felt like I was holding him up! :)

I don't believe so, but we aren't all that far away from one another.

Crazy, if you showed me that guy's video...just his form and ball motion, I'd never believe he could roll a 900.

I'd be happy to roll a 900 8-pin No Tap

He definitely carries a lot of "light/swisher" strikes, but he buries his fair share, and leaves his fair share of "light-hit" spares, too.
The 900 was just incredible, he carried EVERYTHING, including the 4-10, at one point.
However, other than the 4-10 carry, every shot was in the pocket, so kudos to him on that!
