I saw an article on the Storm Vector Layout system a while back. When I was searching for a new ball recently, I came across it again. It is an Excel spreadsheet with a series of questions regarding your personal statistics such as rev rate, axis tilt, axis rotation, and ball speed. There are other sections dedicated to lane conditions, drilling, bowling ball specs, and ball reaction length. One you enter all of these items, the spreadsheet will calculate a layout for that ball. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this yet?

Here's the video for it, if you search the forum there are a few staffer ball reviews where they used it to layout a ball.

It is an interesting concept. The problem is having ALL the information to get right answers. With the right answers a good driller can apply it to any new ball.
Especially those they are most familiar with.
