You have just got to see this guy's approach it is absolutely
hilarious to watch made me laugh so hard to see him do it
and he even tries to teach Diandra Asbaty how to do it.

I used to deliver awards to some of the centers around Detroit. If you ever get a chance go see a large mixed league of almost all Black bowlers. You will see a lot of original approaches. Some look like doing the Cha Cha or something. Hops, Skips and Jumps. Over the head softball deliveries. They still throw good shots and do it on every shot. Even the bowling sheets have some really funny nick names.

Redunkulous.

Why would IABowling celebrate that? It's like the guy in Norco that bowls backwards. Obviously they are doing it for attention...then we all give them attention...and it only encourages them more to bowl like a ******.

Although, it does bring up an interesting question. Which I will ask elsewhere so not derail/hijack.

I believe there are some people that just cannot bowl the conventional way due to miss alignments of the body or malformations of the spine, shoulders, hips, etc; and each person does what is most comfortable for them. Although in this case I believe it's for attention and it just works well for him.

Never have seen anything quite like that but have seen a couple odd ones.

A handicapped kid in the beer and pizza league goes to the line and swings his arm back and forth about 3 or 4 times and bowls.

A league guy that does a normal approach with his feet but does not move his arms then totally stops on the third step brings the ball up into back swing and them delivers it on the next step.

Another league guy who starts about 5 feet from the foul line and takes 7 steps, almost a little dancing in place and then throws, averages 200

I wouldn't put it past Jason and Diandra to have encouraged/arranged this whole thing. IAB was mentioned several times, people will watch it because it is funny and it's clever marketing really.

I want to see that from the side or front. Very unusual.

I am not positive but I saw a video about 4-5 years ago that looked like the same guy. If memory serves me it was from a youth bowler from the southwest Arizona or New Mexico. Was on the old PBA or USBC board before the stick up the A$$es took them over.

I want to see that too...I still haven't figured out what is going on there. I'm watching the approach and the next thing I know the ball is out and he's walking out 3 lanes over.

There's a video of him from the side that's floating around youtube somewhere. Guy's name is Matt something or other.... when I'm off work I'll see if I can dig it up.

Isn't it illegal to have both hands on the ball during the release? I can't tell for certain that is what he's doing but from behind it definitely looks that way...

Well I forgot about it, but here is more of the guy. Get a little bit more insight in to the release.
