Review:
The New Motiv Paranoia is one of those “something special” balls. It may be the new Agitator cover or the new Dual Density Oblivion core, but this ball rolls great, and sends pins flying with a motion we have not had before. The Paranoia to me is like a stronger and more angular “Venom Line” ball. I have used this ball on wet and dry conditions and various lines. The Paranoia always has great backend and flip. I am not even shy about using it in oil because when it finds a breakpoint it will come back. We did the video on a beat up pattern and the ball rolled a little sooner than on a typical house shot but still rolled and carried extremely well. The Paranoia fits nicely between the Panic and Vengeance for me. We have blown through our preorders at the shop and everyone is extremely happy with this ball! The ball has great shelf appeal and the blend of purple and green just looks great. The Paranoia revs up nicely in the mid lane and won’t skid too far, and when it starts to corner it seems to go into another gear through the pins. I have to say it is one of the hardest hitting balls I have. The combination of core and cover do not seem to have any over/under problems. We have used Pin up and pin down drillings all with success. This ball seems to fit all styles of bowler.
I have been so happy and proud of Motiv with the success on T.V. and with the way the new equipment preforms. I have been to a lot of tournaments lately and I see more and more Motiv everywhere. The results are speaking for themselves with this fast growing company. Grab a new Motiv and be part of the revolution!
Summary:
The Paranoia reads the mid lane then
explodes with a strong backend.
This is beautiful ball and some say purple balls hit harder.
The high entry angle creates a high carry percent and messengers.
If you want angular ball that plays many patterns the Paranoia is it.
