Well first off I took off most of last fall's bowling and only
bowled a short 14 week non-sanctioned fun league that
ended a couple of weeks ago after the new owners took
over the center.

I had decided that I was not going to bowl in the center
again as long as the previous owner had the center well
low and behold he decided to sell it last December.

Now I have decided to go ahead and bowl on a summer
league had to pay for my new sanction card but all is
good now.

Okay here is the first weeks scores from last Thursday
night league 05/19.

1st. game 258
2nd. game 166
3rd. game 172
for a whopping 596 series could have and should have
been a 620+ series or better.


First game was great but everyone was playing right
on top of my line and broke it down in a hurry toward
the end of the 1st game and on the 2nd and 3rd games.

I kept moving in and they would move the same as I did
they were watching my every move and would follow my
moves and some had super high revs which tore the shot
up in a hurry.

Maybe this week will hopefully be better on all 3 games.

Well no big high games last night but was pretty consistent on my games the
left lane seemed to be hooking more before we even started it was around 4
to 5 boards more than the right lane in practice and only got worse as the night
went on.

Well on to the scores 05/26

1st. game 205
2nd. game 199
3rd. game 203

for a 607 series not exactly what I was hopping for but
I guess it was alright for the conditions we were bowling
on last night.

Well guess I'd better post last weeks scores before I forget to do it
not a big scoring night by any means but a pretty consistent night.

LOL!!!! this is just the first 4 weeks of summer league.

I'm pretty sure my average will probably fall off a few pins down to
somewhere between 195 to 200+. Now back in the good old days
when I was younger and my back and knees weren't so messed up
I always averaged well over 200 back in the 80's and early 90's on
the good old wooden lanes and the pre-reactive resin ball days.

I guess if my back and knees hold up as they have been doing the
past few weeks I may be able to keep that average up where it is
now or maybe even get it a little higher hopefully.

Well last week wasn't all that I was hopping for but still a good week overall
almost forgot about putting down my scores on here from last week.

for a total of 606 was hopping for a higher 600+ series though.

your old day's sound like mine, league average was like 190 and action, pot games was sometimes higher or lower, but I never lost a lot on cash. after bowling action I had a 69 Nova ss with some modifacations that I street raced for more cash..lol.. I was a bad boy.....haha

No scores for 6/23/16 had a family emergency and didn't get to bowl
maybe I'll get to bowl tomorrow night.

Okay just got back from vacation last night so didn't get to post last week's
scores so will do so right now before we bowl tonight.

6/30/16

1st. game 267 had the front 8 hung a 10 pin in the 9th frame got disgusted and missed it then struck out.
2nd. game 204 the carry just went away 2nd and 3rd games
3rd. game 205

had a 676 series

Man what a terrible night I had last night on the lanes they were absolutely fried after half way
through the 1st game I don't think they even oiled them after the Wednesday night league.

I was told the oiling machine was on the fritts and what we had to bowl on was left over from
the night before. Well started out not all that bad the first few frames but when you have 4
crankers / power tweeners playing on top of each other they wear out fast and we had no shot
the next two games.

Okay so much for complaining now on to the scores.

This past Thursday night was quite a bit better at least the lanes
weren't as fried as they were last week.

I was having a lot of trouble getting out of the ball clean the first game.

was still having a little issue with my thumb the second game

for 664 series not bad for having so much trouble the first and second game.

Well we went through the same thing as what we did on 7/14/16 with the
oiling machine not working right and it wasn't a pretty sight last week the
machine was half way working and I had a decent night. I was informed we
were getting a different oiling machine and I can hardly wait until it gets
here it is one of the Kegel oiling machines that sprays the oil down like an
inkjet printer so maybe things will get back to normal.

Oh well so much for my complaining here is the mess I bowled on
Thursday 7/28/16

1st. game 174
2nd. game 214
3rd. game 178

for another whopping 566 series

Maybe next week the other machine will be here I hope, keeping my fingers crossed.

Okay now for this past Thursday nights scores on the new shot with the
new oiling machine we were the first ones to try the new shot out.
