Hello All! Since fall league ended, I have been bowling a summer league at a new house, won't be owning there next fall and using my game pass via Brunswick, 3 games a day, 7 days a week for $32 one I me fee. During league, I'm right at a 200 average, only been 3 weeks, it's a12 week league. These lanes are nice. Consistent shot, well taken care off. I usually can use the same ball all through out. Pretty happy there. It also has a great pro shop that I have been buying my gear from, though the guy is out for a while. I even went up to practice once, they give us 3 free games a week and they just got done oiling. My regular house rarely oils during summer. With the eh game pass, it's a different story. So far shot 21 games there. Trying t see how much per game this pass costs me, should be pretty low. But he shot changes so much. A college team bows there and hey had their shot out there. Then they had a different house shot, perhaps just changed it as their new house shot. When I first when there I shot my normal shot, target the 15 out to the 5 and then it comes to the pocket. Had no problem. But now, the ball doesn't come back as its catching the oil, just slides. Now I shoot more down and in, starting on the 5 to the pocket. Guess it makes me able t adjust, which is good.
Hope everyone is having fun bowling in the summer! As a teacher, I'm glad it's summer, but can't aI tell the fall comes around for league.

Blomer, College teams typically practice on sport shot conditions. That's why the ball wasn't coming back for you. Next time you run into that see if someone there, maybe the mechanic that oils the lanes, can tell you what the pattern is. If it's a stock pattern he should be able to tell you where to play it. You can go on line and find most if not all of the patterns and instructions on how to play them. Good luck and keep practicing.

Blomer, sounds like me, i had to go to the outside shot also and stay away from the oil. my first shot today with my new track heat went right into the gutter....lol... thought I bought the wrong ball. then went to the outside and swear i was playing 1st arrow. not sure since I don't look at arrows but the ball came alive down where it counts
