I've been here a few months after a 25 year layoff. I have belonged to many forums but all car related I was even a moderator on some. I am so pleased that I searched bowling and found this site. So far you are all amazing nice people and understand us seniors. It seems age or average doesn't matter here. thank you for all the help so far, this site has got me so more into wanting to be as good as i was years ago.:)

If not for this site I may have given up again....instead i just want to bowl all the time

I took 20 years off and this forum really helped me get back into it. Glad it helped you! No one here seems to care if you're 10 or 87. Just go bowling!

Good to have you all here. This place has always been a very friendly and laid back forum. When it started many years ago, it was trumped by other forums in size, but with that also came some major egos. There isn't a lot of that on here.

It was this site that opened up a lot of avenues for me. Bowl1820's knowledge and access to so much information is what led me to start the path to coaching. Some amazing clients led me to keep pushing and learning so without this forum or the clients I wouldn't currently be a Gold coach candidate. It also put me in touch with people like Angela Wilt (motiv girl) which has led to meeting many others within the industry.
When I applied for a staff position with BowlerX I contacted admin and the folks at bowlingball.com had no issue with me staying here of including the position in my signature. When I few of us went out on our own they were supportive of that also stating anything that promotes the sport they would support.
For all these reasons I'm eternally grateful a friend steered me to this site.
