Aslan you keep talking about Motiv "cheating". The original "chrsters" Ebonite. They brought out the No Limit and Gamebreaker remake which had much higher differentials than allowed. They somehow "cconviced the USBC to granfather in the cores for a single use in those balls. Roto Grip did the same thing with the SD73 classic. Those balls all had diffs in the 70+ range which is a lot worse than 0604 and 061. Plus that core was used in the Raptor series and nobody said boo till Motiv started kicking the big 3's *** in sales and performance

Aslan you keep talking about Motiv "cheating"...
No sense in hashing it out here and hijacking the thread...but your post seems to be, and I'm paraphrasing, "Yes, they cheated. But so did other manufacturers a long time ago so therefore it's justified." The old "2 wrongs make a right" logic.

The facts are indisputable...which is why Motiv has yet to "dispute" them.
1) They violated USBC specifications.
2) They did this intentionally thinking nobody would care or notice.
3) Their pros and athletes were aware of the equipment being out of spec.
4) Two relatively unknown professional players won major titles throwing illegal equipment.
5) When the cheating was exposed, Motiv did not deny that they had cheated. They did not say they would look into the cause and correct it.
6) Only after the USBC refused to alter their ruling did Motiv make the decision to fight the decision and quickly gave up on that strategy.
7) They are yet to respond to my inquiry about the facts surrounding the incident.
8) They offered a trade-in program...then again decided to change their mind and fight the ruling.

Until they give me a satisfactory response to #7, I will call them what they are...I will not purchase their products...and I will cheer against their athletes...if I'm at the competition in person I will boo their athletes. I know the response will be, "Why do you think they owe you a response?" The answer is, "They don't". But their actions have consequences. Their inactions have consequences.

I guess if I HAD TO pick a ball RIGHT NOW...that I'd like to add to my next arsenal...I'd definitely choose a Lane #1 DIFFerence. I think it's a strong ball that I could use as a skid/flip #4 ball. Unfortunately, the Lane #1 DIFFerence sells for > $300 which is so absurd it gives me indigestion.

Yeah...that was my other choice.

Have it and really like it. Longer and more aggressive off the spot than I expected though. More of a medium oil ball but works on the burn due to length and recovery. I guess what I should say is that it filled the spot I intended just differently than I expected. It is the only ball in my bag I can throw over the 4th arrow and still carry.
