Considering I was in the hospital until 5:30am and all drugged up from another dam kidney stone, this wasn't bad at all.

During the 3rd game the drugs were wearing off and my #14's felt like they were #50's, and I was beyond exhausted. Finished the game with 4 strikes to have a respectable score.

Some bad misses in the first game. 2nd game I had a 7-10 in the 9th frame. 3rd game I chopped the 3-6-10 in the 3rd frame, and that frame prevented me from being perfect.

On Monday the oil pattern is consistent. On Wednesday it's not.

During the month of October, I have set new personal series records on 4 occasions. And while I know there's going to be a stinker in there some where, I want to keep myself in the mid to upper 600's, and into the 700's.

My release wasn't giving me much reaction with the Ultimate Nirvana or the Vandal. But the Vandal was recovering from the 2 board to the pocket, but the UN didn't. I know that doesn't make sense, but that's how it went for me.

I'm getting the Vandal Smash on Saturday. Hopefully it will help cure a few of these ill's I had tonight.

Congrats on the 700 I must have missed that post. It does actually make sense. The Vandal has a little higher Rg. (not much) and less surface than the UN 500/royal vs 500/4000 not a huge difference but a little. From watching the two balls personally I think the cover on the UN is quite a bit stronger than the Vandal too. In other words the UN was burning up on you especially that far outside where the Vandal had enough energy left to make the turn. Still a nice series though.

Actually the Smash is going to be closer to the Nirvana than the original Vandal. The surface on the Smash is the same as UN. Honestly I don't see a hole there between the UN and the Vandal myself.

Used the new TPU X shoes tonight and until I got use to them in the 3rd game, I never got comfortable. Even concerted 3 splits for a clean 3rd game.

I bowled a game before hand and I was doing OK, but somehow during league play I started sticking and I was using the #8, so I switched to the #10 and I had to remember how to ice skate again! lol

All I had to do was make my approach longer and make sure I was bent over, which I wasn't doing early on. Once I made the changes everything went well.

I did get out of the slump, and I attribute the slump to the new shoes. I had to make my approach a little longer to allow for the slide, and now that I'm comfortable with it I even have some more speed and revs. It also allowed me to stay with one ball (Vandal Smash) the entire night.
