Hey there! Gearing up for the start of another fun season of bowling here in New York!!
Excited for the competition but really hoping my body holds up for the entire season.
Have been dealing with a shoulder issue for many years now and just switched back to right handed after a 2 year switch to left handed.
Been bowling since I was a kid, my dad taught me how to throw a real hook when I was topping the ball for years doing quite well but once I learned how to really throw the ball and read the lanes then things started to click. I took a few years off and then came back to bowling in my 20's starting a league at my job with my coworkers and have been bowling again ever since. Not only is it a great way to relax and have fun, the competition is a thrill especially when it comes down to the end of the year and you are right in the thick of things shooting for the league championship. Had many years of success in the earlier years throwing 2 300's and a 298 in the span of only a few years back on the bowling scene. Changed houses and haven't had the success I would like to there as well as the injury plaguing me every year.
But anyway, glad to find a bowling forum with lots of passionate bowlers such as myself discussing the sport we love.
I'll have to tell you the story about my first 300 game some time on here when I have more time to write about it. And it is some story!
Peace!!
