These are the two biggest names and will here doing sessions. $75 to participate or $20 just for entries and autograph session

Might just show to check it out. The biggest names we have here locally is Brian Voss who I believe lives in the Denver area

I think it's cool to have two of the biggest names in bowling. They could have sent Tier 2 talent but sending Tier 1 instead

Add to that these two are pioneers to the sport. They can probably answer any technical question about bowling.

I went to two different clinics in the early 90's where Norm and Pete were each the selling point.

Norm was amazing and genuinely wanted to help everyone improve. Great coaching knowledge.

Pete was very friendly and great to hang out with, but as a coach he wasn't worth the cost.

Yea I doubt Pete is coach material. I remember seeing an article or video of him discussing th change in ball tech over the years, and he basically said he doesn't really know much about them, he just throws them how his ball rep tells him too.

Maybe he'll teach them the voodoo roll

While it would be pretty cool to meet them and hangout, where I'm at I can get a private 90 minute lesson with a Gold coach for that price (95).
I wouldn't expect to get too much quality coaching out of it, but would still be fun to participate !

Neat--though CO is a long way from PA. If it would've been close to me, I'd drive for the experience. If I lived in or near CO, I'd definitely do it just to say I did.....though the price tag is a bit steep.

Norm is awesome.
Pete is clueless about bowling balls other than how he throws them. Del's knowledge with Pete's physical game is why he is one of the best ever.

I am surprised by this about Pete but he does have a lot of natural talent that he probably doesn't worry too much about ball technology

I guess if anyone decides to show up he'll just yell "Throw the damn ball already will ya, the pins aren't going to knock themselves down" :)

My claim to fame is that, in the early 80's, before they were pros, I competed against both Del Ballard, Jr. and Norm Duke. I beat both of them in 1 tournament and took home $1,250.00.

Event has been postponed. Apparently PDW injured his back at US Open and can't fly

He injured his hip and knee, and had to withdraw.
