Can be pin, CG way out of line, markings in wrong place, errors in color, etc... won't be for a box

X-outs can be pins that are longer or shorter than the specs the manufacturer deems firsxt quality. They can also b an X-out due to gross weight or top weight being out of range for first quality. And lastly either a logo blem or color blem can result in them being an x-out rather than first qauality

Their 2nds, balls with some type of defect, the color is off, long pin placement, extreme cg placements etc.

They are usually okay to use, some just might be difficult to use with certain layouts. Most time they are cheaper to get.

where would you get one, like get one and drill it for a spare ball?

Yes.

For the most part the same places you get others balls, the Pro-shop, online. just depends on if they have some.

A lot times on the online sellers, when you see some high end ball going for real cheap. you have to look close and read the fine print, they are X-outs.

If you see Hurricane or Bonanza balls those are alot of times 2nds (Just a matter of figuring out 2nds of what). most companies mark the balls as seconds/X-out/X-comp/ pro-cg/pro-pin etc.
