Would Donald Trump be our first atheist POTUS? I doubt it, but it is obvious he is one.

With as often as Trump lies, are we really sure he is actually a he?

Conversely hillary pretends to be Methodist but goes against the teachings and beliefs of the church and has went so far as attacking Catholics and Christianity and vowing to "take down" the Catholic Church....Jerry Falwell declared her worse than Lucifer running for President.....
Going through the issues that are related to religion the conclusion the Christian groups concluded that Trump was more in line with the beliefs of the church.

Reread the original question. Just wondered how many others pretended just to get votes?

I'd prefer an open atheist.

That would take common sense. Using logic and what is right rather than being swayed by religion.

Many people believe Obama is atheist.

Obama attended a church in Chicago. One of those that sang and danced and had a lot of amening.
Trump prays at the church of the all mighty DOLLAR.
But don't worry it will trickle down after the tax cuts for the rich.
You think the jobs bill to fix the roads and bridges will get funded by the senate and house?

No president has been openly Atheist, however, several presidents have been accused of being atheist during presidential campaigns. This isn't to say that we haven't had atheist presidents, only that none made it public information. There are arguments for several presidents being non-theist or particularly during the early presidents, deist.

It would be impossible to get elected it you came out and admitted to being an atheist. What was it Thomas Jefferson did to the bible? Didn't he cross out a bunch of the stuff he thought was unrealistic? He also used it to be sworn in as President. I think there were others who used his version.
If I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me.
