300-215-211 = 726 Series (242 Average)

Pretty pumped. I thought I would never see this. Best I have done was front 7 (which was just this last Wednesday). Highest previous game was 250's.

I wasn't nervous until the 10th. I was more nervous about the 10th ball than 11th or 12th. Once I got the first strike in the 10th frame (light mixer) I calmed down. I kept it simple, didn't over think it and went through my simple quick routine. Last ball got me nervous as I probably slowed down a bit and the ball went high flush. The 4 pin was the last to go down after it looked like it wouldn't go down.

First 700 series (scratch) and 800 series (handicapped)

Here is video of it and my ugly mug :)

Thanks. They weren't perfect shots but I'll take it. No brooklyns this game (I've had my fair share of them)

I was in a rush to fill out the 300 ring form I went with standard ring (no add-ons). I won't ever wear it but do regret adding some text to the ring. I think this was an option.

They usually contact you to make sure the info on your sheet is correct before making your ring. If you want to add text you may have a shot at it

Good to know. Thanks

I THINK they only contact when you do an upgrade as it's Keepsake that contacts you. You can always try getting the sheet back to add it. Chances are it's not been sent in yet.

I'm not going to worry about it. I'll take whatever comes in the mail.

Great job on the 300 and 700! Although I've had 3, I still get just as nervous as the first time. I get most nervous on the 11th ball, and relax for the 12th.

What WOULD have made me more nervous was the person saying "No pressure" after each ball on the video. I had a teammate tell me that very thing last week when we needed 2 strikes in the 10th frame of the 3rd game to win the season championship. They went on to say "That's why you're in the anchor position." Took a lot of effort to shrug it off and throw a 3-bagger in the 10th.

agreed.... but I actually do not think it was loud enough for him to hear it. I watched the video with another person and I said....shut up already....lol...but he was so cool about it I don't think it mattered...

Thanks all. It was a fun night

Funny the first person I thought of from these boards was you Blomer. I recall your 300 occurred around a year ago and you were fairly new to the sport.

What ball did you use and weight?

NewToBowling

14 lb 900 Global Respect. I been using my Haywire lately but that night decided to use the Respect because it just felt better.

I will definitely be using the Respect now more.

You had 24 strikes total in three games. Congrats on the 300. The closest I got to a 300 was a 276.

Congrats on your 300!!!

I noticed the general lack of courtesy by the other bowlers, but seemed like a fun league so I won't get into that. :)

Thanks. I didn't mind it. Kept it kind of "normal". Would have been awkward had the whole center stopped and watched me bowl.
