Bowled league Saturday and started with a 220 with one open of 9 pins. Crashed and burned with a second game of 133 and a third game of 150. YIKES! The alleys were dry this time. I could tell because I was using my Blue Hammer urethane ball in the second and third games and that was hooking into the pocket going between the 5 and 10 boards. I was leaving 7 pins and 6/10 combo spares. Sometimes I was leaving easy spares because I am not use to setting up right with both balls to pick the spares up. That will come around once I get a few more games in.

Because of my high first game my average went from a 129 to a 138. I changed the surface on my Raw Hammer Anger ball to a 2000 grit unpolished and boy was it hooking in that first game. I hardly had to do anything, I just let the ball do the work. I think once I got into the second game I think my speed changed from what I had in the first game. I wish the oil was the same like the Saturday before. It was oilier then. Oh well! At least I got to see how my Anger ball works with the new surface. I'm sure I had an increase in revs this time because I am more comfortable with my approach and swing which is not muscled.

I guess I will be making better progress with my games and spare shooting as I go forward.
