Can and how do you clean these, I need a slider on my shoe and mine isn't working like it used to. Do I just need a new one or can they be cleaned somehow?

I would presume that you could toss one in a washing machine. I've never tried, I always just throw them out, they are so cheap.

Have you thought about investing in shoes with interchangeable soles and heels?

I'm just guessing here, but those add on sliders, I don't think tossing them into a washing is wise. what's wrong with the one you have? is it sticking too much? or just dirty?

The best way to find out is to contact the MFG. (Email) and ask.

I have never used one (seen plenty being used) But, It will probably depend on the brand just how to clean it.

I did a quick look the only reference to cleaning them was from Bowler's Slide Sock by SLSM Designs which said wash them every 30 days. Now what they mean by wash I don't know.

These are new shoes, my issue is that most of my weight in on my heel but for some reason the sliders work. I put the new shoes on and they were like sneakers. So I threw on the slider. Someone said with new shoes they rub them on the sidewalk..lol. I don't want to spend 200.00 on shoes and changing soles etc....The slider is ok right now except it seems to stick a bit. just thought there was an easy fix, and yes they are cheap so I will order new one. Also can I do something to make the sole or heel slide a bit more?. Sand it or wire brush?

Wire brushing from toe toward the heel should make the sole slide more. The heel is suposed to act as brake so I don't think there's much you can do with it. In my experience, on the cheaper shoes the heel gets harder and less grippy as the shoe ages.

I have 2 sliders and when they need to be washed I just toss them in the washer and let them air dry afterwards. Never had an issue either.
