After this season, it will be my 4th year of bowling. Love every second of it. I bought my first ball from a PSO that a teammate recommended. A new old stock Brunswick Karma. Got it cheap, didn't want to spend much as it was my first time in a league and not sure if I would stick with it. From this PSO I bought a few more and even one online that I had him drill. I also bought a few from another PSO across town. Both of these guy are awesome. Very friendly, knowledgeable, don't push anything, ask questions what I want, what I need, watch me bow, etc. both of these guys are across state boarder, maybe 20 minutes away. Recently, within the start of this season, a new PSO moved in to the alley I bowl at most in my home town. He did a ball demo, bought two balls from him and then another ball. This guy pushes A certain line of balls no problem as I liked someof the balls and bought a few. But this guy is a jerk. Doesn't take care of customers, probably won't last to long. I went in to practice some games and he Saw me rolling a ball he sells that I had the first PSO drill and the other balls I had him drill to switch grips. He was irked, "You ditching me?" Text me late at night trying to make me feel bad, " Sorry, I thought I gave you good prices and service." Fact is, when ever he got me a ball, it took him a week to get in if not more and prices were ok. In fact, his price was $50 more than where I got it from. The PSO who I bought it from said when I got my balls changed to switch grips, he said the balls the new guy drilled, the pitches were all different.
For those who use various guys, do the other PSOs treat you like this? I gave the guy a chance, bought three balls off of him. The first guy was the main guy I went to. And will continue to do so. Lesson learned.
