I know in several cases one company makes balls marketed under different names that are all made by the original company

IE Storm / Roto-Grip or Brunwick / DV8 / Radical

Is Pyramid associated with another company, do they have their balls poured by someone else, or are they a stand alone manufacturer ?

I've seen them sold by bowlingball.com, ebay and Amazon

They are bowlingball.com's Ball. You may find them on ebay and amazon, but they all sell through bowlingball.com. Not a bad ball honestly. I used to throw them until I kept having trouble with a blood moon cracking from the filler material out. Had a Chosen Path Pearl, Divergent Path, and a Blood Moon. All roll well. Blood Moon was a benchmark for me until they kept blowing out the balance hole

Pyramid is Bowlingball.com's house brand.

Here's a quote from Dustin:

"All of our bowling balls are designed and tested in the US with the majority of our performance balls being manufactured in China. The exception being the Blood Moon which was manufactured by 900 Global. Our polyester balls are made either in China or Mexico.

Interesting that the only ball chip had trouble with was the one poured by global.

I've really wanted to try a pyramid ball. I am really drawn to the Pathogen. I get excited when it is the ball of the week. And it happens to be this week so I have another chance!

Let me see if I can dig up a picture of that balance hole. It was a great ball, but went through 2 of them pretty quick. Like I said, the 2nd one I noticed the filler material cracking after just 5 games

Found a pic of it, but not sure about uploading it on here. Keeps denying it. Any special tricks?

To me it looks like the hole was not beveled ewnough . That would lead to chipping/cracking of a hole that size

It was indeed beveled. I don't track over it, or even near it. Its just a balance hole. And the crack started in the filler material UNDER the cover stock

Yeah, it started cracking at the filler material under the coverstock, and once it reached the cover, it just blew out.
