Hey All,
What kind of lifespan do finger grips have? Or what's a good rule for changing them out? Just started bowling again, mine are maybe close to 10 years old in my ball sitting in the back of my closet. Would new ones make a difference?

10 year old grips, throw them away.

And if you haven't had your fit checked in ten years, get it checked before anything else. Your hand can change alot in ten years.

Most charts recommend changing grips every 60 games, at the very least you should replace them before the start of a new season.

But it depends on just how they wear for you, if they get loose feeling, not snug anymore replace them. If they start getting deformed or hard feeling, replace them.

Besides the grips, the ball itself is pretty old, if you decide you're going to keep bowling for a while, you might want to consider some newer equipment.

Yup...just found some on Amazon. Easy enough diy job. Thanks!
