Inserts....need help.

So I got my Black Widow from Ebay, popped out the finger inserts real easily. I believe the thumb insert is vinyl, I guess. It's much harder. How can I remove this without damaging the ball?

If it's a vinyl thumb insert like I use, You basically remove it the same you do a finger insert you just do it carefully.

everybody has their own technique.

It all Depends on how they glued it in, I loosen it up around the top some with my knife and if I can't just pull it out. I see if I can work the blade down the side and break the glue lose or I take small chisel (or screwdriver) split it down the side and twist it out with pliers. Just don't pry against the top of the hole.


If it's a urethane or vinyl thumb slug though, you got to drill it.
