I found out today the extent of the bone infection. I will be out of bowling and drilling for more than just this season. The infection is going to require amputation of my left leg below the knee. Eventually I will be fitted with a prosthetic leg and will need to learn to walk again

Sorry to hear that stormed. A guy I bowled with here that used to own one of the local alleys had to have his leg amputated about 6 months ago. It's been a hard road for recovery but he's doing it. They are actually building him a custom leg just for bowling at the moment. He is back up and bowling even with just the regular leg. Prayers bud hope the surgery goes well.

I am not a prayer guy. Lived too long and seen too much. I do hope everything works out for you. I hope you have good insurance and don't loose it before everything is taken care of.
Remember never give up!
