New season honor scores

So we are now two weeks into the new season.

Week one, first game of the season we had one 300 game

Week two we had 2 more 300 games and an 800 series ( 3 different bowlers)

For Aslan I looked up the house average for the center compared to other local houses and the league from other leagues

The house average is 162 , some other houses in the area are 160, 163, 176, my summer league house 164

The two leagues I am in finished at 200 and 202 for the season last year, and the one after two weeks is at 199. BTW they are the two highest avg leagues in the house.

I bowl at two houses. The first week at both houses there were a total of 3 300's. and 2 299 and one 298. Not all in the same house, but total together.

The second week (this week) another 3 300's. Two came from two guys bowling against each other. Amazing. Plus 1 299 and 3 or 4 279 (which doesn't really count, but I just felt like posting it)

300's is a common place the last 2 decades, but yet there are those 210 220 average bowlers how never ever shot 300's or 800's.

Is that Iowa by chance? A guy I bowled a couple tourneys with here in Wyo just moved there and shot 300 first game first week out there

Yes, I know the guy, have bowled with him for years, and he was on the next pair down from us, right hander, I think he said it was his 6th or 7th 300.

My Tuesday league has had 300's and 800's every week so far.

Week 1 guy had 300 in the first game. for the night there were 2 300's and 1 800.
Week 2 3 300's and 1 800.
Week 3 (last night) 2 300's and 3 800's. Guy last night had 290-289-300 = 879!!

None in my league yet (highest is 299) however the other competitive league has seen 3 so far. No 800s across any yet.

298 is high for my league, and was game 3 of week 1. No 800's yet.
