Leagues...

How many leagues does everyone Bowl here? I Bowl 3 leagues and it’s my first full time multiple leagues in several years... it’s rough! Lol 10 years ago, 4 leagues during winter was easy. What did I get myself into this year, I’m out of shape!

Just 1 this year with a newborn it's kinda tough to do any more, although theoretically i'm a sub in a couple others. Ideally I'd probably be doing 3 as I get more competitive/better, but that might be paused for a bit!

I took a year off when my children were born, since then it was one league and part time travel league. Daddy duties called and bowling took a back seat.

Now that I have more time, I think I made an unwise choice bowling 3 leagues.

I'm just bowling in one league this season maybe next
season I'll go back up to 2 or maybe 3 leagues not sure
my old body can handle it anymore. Back in the late 80's
to late 90's I was bowling 7 leagues most of the time I
just don't think I could do that now days. :(

Tues & Wed @ 12:30, Wed @ 6:30, Thurs @ 7.

Friday's I do a weekly 9 Tap @ 11:30, but it's not a league, nor is it sanctioned. Just a good time and some trash talk amongst friends 😊

I've always done 1at a time....2sometimes when I was a kid with friends and father son one. Seems like enough. My friends and I still open bowled a lot on other days. Used to be free for the summer. My best friends don't want to bowl weekly in the winter now. They are Too busy with work.but in a few years I hope my daughter will want to join a league

I'm in 1 league right now, but will probably do 2 next year. There is a money league at my center that pays out $80,000 in prize money, and is calling my name.

Yeah it's a handicap league, but make no mistake about what kind of bowlers are attracted to it. The league ave. is 205 for 32 teams I believe. There's some serious cut-throat bowlers in that league. I'm pretty sure handicap is based on 90% of 230.

Started out with just 1 league on Tuesday nights, but turned into 2 with adding Wednesday nights as they needed a 5th to keep a team. Every now and then I'll bowl our drop in league on Friday's (high-low doubles, no commitment league). From 2007-2010 though, I bowled entirely too much. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 2 leagues on Fridays, 2 leagues on Sundays. I was fresh out of high school and in much better shape than I am now lol. I learned my lesson that I didn't need to bowl 30 games a week lol.
