I know three for sale. I know their exact locations and conditions. There is no competition nearby any of these places. I would buy any one of these but lack the finances. However my entire life has been around bowling as well as has my familys and I would love to work in one or more of these bowling alleys should they be opened.

its nearly impossible to bowl during the week in Pittsburgh unless you are already in a league. bowling is alive and well over here.

Wish I could say the same for around here but bowling here is dying
a slow death it seems. We used to have 24 lanes then it went down
to 8 lanes in the basement as they closed down the 16 lanes upstairs
but they added 6 lanes and now we are back up to 14 lanes.

Back in the day we used to have all 24 lanes full of 4 to 5 people teams
7 nights per week. Now days we have 2 nights of leagues with 14 lanes
with 4 person teams on Wednesday nights and on Thursday night we have
12 lanes with 4 person teams.

If the new owners hadn't stepped up and bought the center at the very last
minute we wouldn't even have a center to bowl at as the other owners was
going to just close the doors and sell of the equipment.

I bowl at Arsenal, Noble, Mt Lebo, Dormont, Great Valley, North Versailles and Forward. Gotta bounce around to get a free lane during winter

I guess any owner takes a certain salary and sees what is left over for upgrades...my local one has had nothing major done since automatic scoring in 1993 and the food court 4 years later.... synthetic lanes too. Wood approaches and machines still original.. 1960. Guess money isn't flowing in or she chooses to keep it. Always thought it was weird to have just 6 chairs in the bowling area. 2 full teams couldn't all sit at the same time. There's tables back on the carpet but I don't like sitting there

Hate to say it, but Michigan is dying.

Bowling is making a comeback, imo.
