Roto Grip Hyper Cell Fused

Got the Hyper Cell Fused last week after attending a Storm/Roto Grip Demo day at the USBC ITRC recently. Picked it up from my drilling guy on Tuesday and rolled it during league for a few frames. The ball comes polished, but for me in the few frames I rolled it meant nothing but corner pins. 10 pin, 2 pocket 7-10's and another 10 pin the first 4 frames bowled with it. I put it away and decided I would take the shine off of it next time out on the lanes.

Well, I took polish off and it rolls much better for me. Got some practice with it today and took some video of some shots during my practice session.
The ball works pretty well on several different lines. Inside the ball holds, outside and it makes a nice move to the pocket.

I had great success with my Hyper Cell ball several years ago and happy Roto Grip decided to bring the proven Cell line back.

I cant stand ball videos with nothing but strikes, so I included a couple non strikes in the video. :cool:

Sounds like the surface change helped out the entry angle to get rid of those corners. Ball seems VERY angular, but a great ball none the less. Not sure if I will end up with one in my bag or not. If they would just do a throwback release of a Cell Pearl I'd buy 5 of them lol

I had 2 of the original cells and a hyper cell. Is this one similar or just in name only?
I actually went to the garage and found my old original storm eraser and have been using it. 16 pounder.

I got mine Sunday and threw for a few frames and a game tonight. But during these two nights I struggled with everything. Couldn’t hit my target, my speed was off, my approach, everything. I need a practice session. Before 8 can have my final verdict.

Had a pair of 700 series this week with the Fused. 700 on Tuesday and 703 tonight.
