I have shot 2 300 games, and I have also bowled 2 dutch 200 games. I have seen many 300's and 299's being bowled, but never in my life have I personally seen someone else shoot a dutch 200 game.

Congrats on those scores, I have had many chances for dutch through 9 frames, but when it comes to the 10th - the last 3 times I had the chance, I strike out in 10th. I even try to get it outside a little more if I need a spare top of 10th. Dutch is something I think is more rare than we think.

I want to get a 292, that is a score I think is very hard to get, even if you try. :D

Thanks, I actually tossed the idea of bowling a better game, just so I can see if I could complete the dutch.

You think 292 is hard? Try bowling a 271. Virtually impossible.

A 271? Man, pick off a 7 or 10 someplace in the middle, then spare? That'd be a huge "oops" moment. I've done a couple 278's and a 279, but never seen anything close to a 271.

I thought I read somewhere where a guy actually shot each game between 290-300...ie,

290,291,292,293,294,295,296,297,298,299,300

Thought it was in the usbc record book.

Actually to shoot a 271, I believe you have to go gutter, pick off 1 pin, and then throw the back 11. Extremely difficult to say the least.

for me i,ve seen 289,279 twice,277,269,264,..i,m hitting scores all over the place but no 300,s yet but it will come with time .....just this year i,ve had a high series of 734 w/ 264-201-269. and just this past thursday night shot 279..... no dutch 200,s though..oh by the way another fu=irst for me was a 11 in a row plaque just last year ......

i,ll just keep on rolling and that elusive 300 will come when it,s ready i guess...:D
