You ever have one of those nights where it starts off great, and after a game, you just have nothing? Well, that's how last night went for me. I've never seen a pair of lanes break down the way they did last night. Started off the night ok. Couple of shots that pushed through the breakpoint late in the game that caused 2 washouts, but still grinded out a 211. After that, it was all she wrote. On the fill ball in the 10th at the end of game 1, I made a ball change to check reaction (was throwing timeless, switched to pitch black). Thought I had a great look. 1st ball in the 2nd game however determined that was wrong however. Hit the same mark, same speed, same hand, and the ball just glided down the lane and didn't even think about moving. It didn't matter what ball I grabbed, where I threw it, just an extreme wet/dry reaction for game 2 that had me scratching my head in frustration. Toward the end of game 2, I did something I haven't done in my home center in quite some time...I grabbed the most aggressive ball I own (Phase II), moved left, and began to rip the cover stock off of it. Low and behold, I had a look. Last game I shot decent, didn't carry well, but managed to grind out a 190 something. Anybody ever see these wet/dry conditions like this, and if so, what's your strategy on handling them?
