You don't see this too often and a lot of people don't realize you can do it.

I've done this once and I just saw a girl do this last week. She was a 2 hander and her ball went long and then broke hard and had so much angle that it went right through.

Back in the good old 80's, I used to bowl on wooden lanes that were stripped once a week on Monday afternoon. I was bowling a league on Monday night. I put balls between the three and the ten twice in one night... with urethane!

Yep,seen it before. Also have seen in practice where someone will take out the 6-9. Try to do that again. LOL!!

I've done it multiple times. One time was with a plastic ball.

Well a ball is about 8.6" wide, so how far apart are the 3 & 10 pin? I should know this but I think maybe 12"? Very tight squeeze to miss them like that but very small margin

Pins are 12 inches apart, So center to center the 3-10 is 24 inches. So there is about 20 inches in between them, Just like the say the 4-6 split. So theres way plenty of room to go through there.

I feel stupid regarding the pin distance, you'd think that's something I SHOULD know by now. I've replaced spotting cells and adjusted the tension on them but haven't yet worked on making sure they are "On Spot" that's a different procedure I haven't done yet but that too is up and coming for me.

Done that at least a half dozen times in my life. It's really a head-scratcher to watch, though!

I've done that more times than I care to remember back in
the old wooden lane days of the 80's and early 90's but never
done it again not that I can remember now days on the newer
synthetic lanes.

A couple of weeks ago, I took the 6 pin from between the 3 and 10. Hopefully I never do that again. :)
