Is it possible to apply two different oils to a lane? For example: if someone want to apply Kegel Fire to the fronts and Kegel Ice to the Mids.

It might be possible but it would be a royal pain to do. I think most lane machines have one resevoir for the conditioner, so it would take two passes, with the machine being thouroughly purged of the first oil before the second pass.

We couldn't / wouldn't do it. For why John said. What would the reason be to do that anyway? Just curious what the difference is between the two oils.

Yes its possible the Kegel Flex lane machine is designed to do exactly that. It has a duo tank system that lets you use one, two or a mix of conditioners.

Example is the Kegel landmark series pattern called the Sphinx it uses both Fire and Ice conditioners.

It must be an optional setup for the machine as ours only has one tank for oil and one for cleaner. For example, our Kegel Flex had the optional battery setup to eliminate having to drag the power cord around. We removed it because the batteries didn't last long, were very expensive and it made it much heavier. I bet there are all kinds of different configurations you can have with all the bells and whistles. No doubt if you had one fully loaded it would be really freaking heavy too.

Yes it can happen especially with the newer machines.

Phonetek, to answer your question about the oils what I have experienced is that the ice oil is cleaner through the fronts than the fire oil (the fire allows the ball to get a little more friction through the pattern).

Makes sense to me, thank you.
