So far just the TZone. I'll upgrade in September when I'll have the PSO watch me in league play. I've been out of the sport for many years and I lost my bowling balls just before my divorce a year and a half ago.

Just finished the summer league last night and the fall league also started last night but I will be using the same as I did for this summer. #1 Brunswick Kingpin, #2 Hammer Black Widow Gold, #3 Brunswick Rhino Pearl Black. I hit the Rhino with 2000 grit CTD to give it a little more bite but haven't really used it yet. In fact, bought it in about March and probably about 50 rides down the lane...lol. I don't usually even take it out of the bag.

I will be starting the season with the arsenal in my signature. Will be possibly starting in a new league in a different hall so will make a decision on something new after the season starts. Steve

I'm picking up a Venom Shock tomorrow for my 3rd ball in my arsenal, or ordering one anyway if he don't have one in stock.

I recently converted over to Radical for all my bowling balls. So here is mine.
Intel
Original Katana
Cyclops
Storm Mix (Spare Ball)
Storm Pitch Blue Urethane

Daredevil Trick
HyRoad
Storm Byte
White Dot
Hyroad needs to be rejuvenated/refinished, and I need to replace the Byte (looking at one of the Hustle series balls) but it's still working for when lanes are dry for now.

If I stick with my 16lb gear I'll be rolling:
Brunswick: C-System AlphaMax ; Massive Damage ; Total Inferno ; TZone
AMF: Cobra
When funds allow I intend to switch to 15lb so who knows. I'll get to build from scratch, I really like the current offerings from Hammer and Rotogrip

Since they changed the type of oil in the house, and the volume, its really been a struggle to carry consistently. The High Rev guys are loving it as are the two handed players. Everyone else not so much. I went to a Storm Surelock and still trying to get the angle to the pocket right. I am having a hard time carrying the ten pen. Looking at the Brunswick Quantum Bias, and the Rotogrip Halo. Cause I just don't seem to be able to make friends with the Surelock. Yes we have that much oil. Most folks are back to playing around the oil on the outside 7-5 board. The track shot will give you the pocket but you wont carry a high percentage. I am not one of the guys with 450 revs, I just don't have that kind of hand in the ball. Had scored really well before so its just a matter of figuring the line out.
On the league secretary statistics, the total league shot 3 pins under the previous league average on Thurs. and 3 pins under on Tues. Not sure what the oil switch was about, but it hasn't been well received.

Someone stole your ball? What the? There is a special place beyond 6 feet under somewhere between Hitler and divorce attorneys for people who rip off bowling equipment.

That is the Symmetrical and Assymetrical ball I believe, it was the first one and Track made something similar with the Alias.
Anyway, depending on how you drill the ball it can be either sym or asym. From what I heard its a good ball but I don't have it. I know you aren't on Facebook but the reason why I converted to Radical is there is a Facebook group for Radical Fans and you can talk to Mo Pinel, Radical ball designer. I gave him my specs and he gave me my layouts for my balls. Who better than the actual guy who designed the ball to give you a layout.
I recently picked up a Radical Intel and I threw my first 700 series ever, then 3 weeks later I did it again. Also threw a No Tap 300 during a No Tap tournament so I have to say I've been really happy with the Radical equipment.

Storm Hyroad
Hammer Dark Legend Solid
RG Hustle INK
RG Own It red spare
All 15 lb. I bowl 3 leagues in 2 different centers and that group has performed very well. I find myself using the Hammer most of the time. Very controllable and predictable for me.

Typically going to go to any house league with the following arsenal:
Hammer: Gauntlet Fury, Black Widow Urethane, Cherry Vibe
Pyramid: Curse (@2000)
Jet: Blackbird (spare)
I also have a Roto Grip Hyper Cell that I typically bring for tournament/sport shots (typically don't encounter conditions that require this ball) but I will be replacing this at some point before the next tournament season.

I guess I'll be using the same old equipment as last year and the
year before that and the year before that all the way back to 2014
which will be my Hammer badass and Hammer blue Spike my main
bowling balls and the other ones I have also.

Daredevil trick and the skull for one league. I do somehandicap tournaments at other alleys so I also have a dare devil danger for dry and storm match up for short patterns. That's enough to lug. I don't have a caddy

Switched over to 15 lb equipment this year. I have the Radical Katana from last year, and added the Radical Quick Fix, and DV8 spare ball in 15 lbs. I also added a bit of surface to the Quick Fix using 3000 abralon.

I will be throwing my usual Brunswick Mastermind Scholar. With it, I am adding my Radical Tremendous.
To round it out, I will be adding my new Brunswick Method to it that I won directly from Liz Kuhlkin. She included an autographed picture with it as well. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Arsenal in my signature.
It's gonna be a challenging season. I don't like the Thug Life as a #1 ball out of the bag. It's ideally a replacement for my #3 skid/flip position. However, these are the last of my 16lbers...and I want to switch back to 15lbs with my next arsenal.
Thus far this season, not only is using 16lbs causing me physical problems (having been away from bowling for 9 months)...but I've averaged 147.5 in my 1st games over the past 4 weeks. Compare that to averaging 194.75 in my 2nd games and 182.5 in my 3rd games.
It's seemingly clear that the Thug Life doesn't have the 'bite' on the fresh pattern. Once the pattern breaks down...it starts to work...most times I'll switch to the Warning Sign in Game 3 at some point. I usually don't get to ball #3...if I do it's late in the 3rd game.
I was hoping to use this arsenal to play with surface management. BUT....then my ball spinner motor fried up...so now I gotta figure out how to replace the motor in the ball spinner so I can get back to playing with the surfaces. In the meantime, I gotta figure out what to do in Game 1. The only other option is to start with the Warning Sign outside the track...then switch to the Thug Life when the pattern breaks down...but I really, really don't have much confidence in the Warning Sign. It's a ball with little track record of success...but who knows? Maybe thats my only option.
Hammer

I have been using the same two bowling balls since 2005. One is a 14# Blue Hammer with 2000 surface dull and a 15# Raw Hammer Anger with 2000 surface dull. I do revive the surfaces when needed. They still work well.

Right now my first go-to balls include the Roto Grip Hyper Cell Fused and the Brunswick Cutting Edge Pearl. Loving this equipment so far. Can't wait to add more to my arsenal.

Why do you need 6 balls for the same league? 3 at most I would think. A solid forfresh then one for when it starts to dry up and then a plastic

11-13-2018, 08:04 PM
Anyway I have the rotogrip trio, idol for first two games if it starts to go nuts, then the trick drilled weak, and danger for later rounds oftournaments after a bunch of games were throen and a storm match up for short patterns
