Hello Everyone, first time post, Hopefully, I am in the right Thread. Anyways, my question concerns the rejuvenating process. I have a Hammer Dark Legend Bowling Ball. After each league season, I get it rejuvenated and resurfaced. I have had the bowling ball for three years and after the last time it was rejuvenated it did not seem to work or maybe work as well. Anyways, my question is after a certain amount of time does the ball just stops working and you can not bring it back? Or, does the rejuvenated process prolongs the ball life, until there is nothing there. It has been rejuvenated 9 times, with 3 total resurfaces. It may also me wanting to buy a new ball and I need an excuse. If anybody can put some light on this subject, that would be great. Thanks

It varies from ball to ball. Some bounce back more than others if you've had it three years I would consider that a good life and you've done what you should to take care of it. there's nothing wrong with deciding it's time to move on.

I have to agree with Amyers on it depends on the ball as to
how many time it can be rejuvenated and still perform well
before dying out.
I'm still using on a need to be used occasion an original DV8
Hellraiser from back in 2011 and have de-oiled and refinished
it no telling how many times over the years and it is still going
strong and hooking just like a brand new one out of the box.
I had a Ebonite ball that after somewhere around 7 or 8 de-oil
and refinishes it just kind of died out and didn't want to hook
anymore. Then my Hammer Badass and blue Spike bowling balls
which are from 2014 and after a bunch of de-oiling and refinishing
and surface changes they are also still going strong so I guess it just
kind of depends on the balls as to how long they are going to last.
