Playoff time

End of the year for most long winter leagues. Anyone else make a playoff?

We have ours tonight. Should be fun. Every time we play this time team the handicap is less than 20 one way or the other usually, so it’s basically a scratch match.

We made playoffs but stunk it up Tuesday night. Top 8 teams were in and we ended up 8th of the 8....lol. We won the 1st half championship and got 3rd in the 2nd half.

8 teams? I’ve never been in a league that has more than 4 so it’s always so tough to get in. We won the 2nd third and the same team won the other two, so it’s just our two teams a wildcard in the league

My Thursday league team, Three Blind Squirrels won our playoffs last week against the first half winners. The closest we came to having any drama was having to make a 2-4-5 and not gutter on the fill ball in the tenth frame of the first game. Second game wasn’t close and a third game wasn’t needed.

We have 16 5 man teams. Summer league starts next Tuesday. 40 2 man teams. This doesn't include subs, etc. Our summer team has 3 of us and we rotate out each week so we all 3 end with the same number of games. This makes it nice in case you go on vacation or whatever. But only 2 can bowl on a night. Can't rotate between games. Same 2 that start the night have bowl all 4 games that night.

Meh, bowled mediocre. Not bad but not all that good either, wound up losing. Oh well
