Having not touched a bowling ball since the end of June, I am getting back into the swing of things and got a couple of games practice this past Sunday.

Boy is my body sore. From my buttocks, to my wrist, to my shoulder. I guess it's my age catching up to me, but I can't remember being sore after only bowling a few games.

Happy to say though, that seems bowling is like riding a bike. I didn't forget how to do it.

Now to get some more practice in as a lead up to the next season, that for us starts after Labor Day.

Hope everyone has been enjoying their summer.

Sorry to hear that you are sore. Hopefully that wears off soon. :)

My summer is going well. This is my first summer spent bowling, actually, since I have been bowling for less than a year, and of course that has improved my opinion of this summer quite a bit, haha. I'm not sure how I survived all of my misspent non-bowling summers... ;)

Welcome to Bowling Boards.

As you have already likely found out, there is a lot of good info that can be shared here. We all start out somewhere.

Thank you! I have already learned quite a bit about bowling in my time here. It's a great forum. :)

Yeah VDub. While you were gone, a girl joined.

Pretty much everything else is the same though.

I don't know how old you are and I have no medical degree but from the symptoms you describe I find mine are similar. Diagnosis, middle age and I'm afraid there is not cure =) Prescription recommendation, more bowling....ice / heat and some anti-inflammatories and or beer =)
