lol. So had to pre-bowl 3 games just now and have to bowl playoffs tonight (up to 10 games). Want to make sure I'm good for tonight. No soreness or anything but looking for anything preventative. Plan to take ibuprofen later before i leave. Wrist is slightly sore right now but i'm sure that will fade soon but hoping i don't feel it tonight. I bowled 8 games in a tournament in March and fingertips were tender when i was done. i don't use any tape and won't be able to without my fingers sticking.
Any tips or advice? Plan to stretch my legs, shoulder, wrist and fingers but other than what i mentioned anything else?
EDIT: Forgot to add...lately i have been tucking my pinky to the 2nd knuckle every game. Haven't had any issues but wondering if i might start seeing blistering or skin issues on the flat part between the 2 knuckles with this many games in a day? Maybe some kind of tape on it? or do you think it will be ok. Today i tried with it untucked a few shots and didn't notice much of a difference but usually it is noticeable. Probably cause they were so dry today?

You might want to change your grips and while you're at it, make sure they're the right size. I'd take some Aleve a couple hour before. Relax and do well. I've continued to use protective tape especially on my thumb as I tore skin one too many times. Have used tape on my fingers, too, but not so much any more. I've bowled without tape on my thumb recently with no ill effects. Just go and have fun. If you make some money, that will be your reward...

If you remember last year I was having hand pain issues and turmeric root fixed me right up. You can get a big old bottle at Walmart for cheap. Works better than ibuprofen imo

Welp made it through the night. Unfortunately only had to bowl 7 games today. Did my 3 earlier today for pre-bowling then 4 tonight. Made it to the 2nd round of the playoff bracket. Winners got $2000 (2 man teams). We have 3 on our team and rotate and we got $575 so I brought home a little over $190. Not bad. I didn't bowl great but that isn't why we lost. The other team was on fire. We bowled 2 game sets each round. First round we won by about 130 then switched lanes and opponents. They won the first game by 31 but 2nd game they both had 5 baggers. Not sure what they ended up with but I think they were both around 230 and their averages were 190 and 200. They won that game by about 70. We were spotted 18 total (9 per game). Body feels good. No issues with fingers or skin.
So started with the Conspiracy and it worked well. Switched to the BWG towards the end of game 2. BWG was turning hard with a big entry angle and started leaving corner pins so went back to the Conspiracy. Early in game 4 went back to the BWG. Had been tucking the pinky all night but untucked it after switching back to the BWG this time and started getting the carries. Finished game 4 strong but it was too late.
Our fall league team won the first 2 games and total pins so we went 5-2 there.

A little sore today. Forearm is sore. Wrist a little sore. Fingers and thumb are fine.
And teammates told us the won 2 of 3 but the other team had a new bowler with no average and they didn't calculate his handicap in so we only won one game. Hard to beat a team with 306 pin per game handicap...lol

Curcumin works even better than turmeric for inflammation, at least for me. Curcumin is the active phytochemical found in turmeric. You can find it in pill form online or at some health food stores.
