we have a league meeting this Wednesday evening. This our league starts around 9/10. Everyone left my team so it's only me. Likely I'll just jump to another team that needs a bowler unless there are 4 others that need a team

Our league starts 8/24. I was thinking of subbing in a league on Thursdays rather than fully committing to a second league.

Of course, I also have a potential job opportunity in Michigan...so if that happens...then it'll pretty much end my bowling season before it begins and screw over my bowling team royally. But, it is what it is.

I was thinking of joining a Monday league at the center close to my house...but;

1) They sent out an email to past league members asking if anyone knew of people looking for a job because they had to close early one night due to lack of workers.

2) Their fall schedule has 0 sanctioned leagues and one league that is listed as "sanctioning available".

This house is just not a serious bowling center and until they decide to be...I'm not rewarding them with my business. I respect that they are doing a lot with youth leagues and stuff...but they absolutely refuse to do anything to try an so much as build even ONE serious adult league...instead going out of their way to offer "UN-Leagues" catering to people who seem to find league bowling too inconvenient.

Thats fine. Thats why all the serious bowlers drive to the other side of the city to bowl...and why I will drive 12-25 miles out of my way to bowl somewhere else.

Aslan, I have been changing equipment after the first game. Trying to set a lineup for two different houses, 4 balls per house. This is causing erratic scoring to say the least. My signature has been changing a lot to start this season. The top line is now my Wednesday league and the second line is the Thursday league.

The NSB house is well maintained, while the Ormond house is not, it also plays very dry and breaks down more all night.

To end on a positive note, 17/19 on ten pins after 30 games.

I think that it's very interesting that each game you started with one or more strikes. In games one and two you struck on your fill ball. What adjustments did you make. Game three started with one strike followed by an eight count and two seven counts. The leaves show a definite over/under condition at that point. Then you doubled. What adjustment did you make there? Is there anything that you could have done to adjust faster?
