So our center had a party tonight. Long story not quite as long...lol. Bowled 6 games with my wife. Her average last year in league was 112. Tonight she tied her best ever 168 and averaged 137 over 6 games. In fact she beat me one game like 144-140 or something.

My objective was to try to use the new Altered Reality the whole time and just keep moving in to make it work. Started out at the 5 board. After about 6 or 7 frames I'd move 2-1-ish. Lane were pretty wet when we started. I struggled a little hitting my target once I got near the 15. Was standing about 25 throwing over 15 and bellying out to about 10-12. If it was league I wouldn't have tried that. I would have switched balls but since it was 'practice' I wanted to try it. The 140 was when I was struggling way inside. The last game I grabbed the Igniter and stayed out at the 10 board but decided to try the new Raw Hammer. Targeted the 7 board and that ball had a nice shape on the dried up line.

Was planning to bowl a sport shot tournament Sunday but decided to wait and bowl the one on the 16th instead.

212 (7 strikes, 1 spare, 2 opens)
182 (4 strikes, 5 spares, 2 opens-2 splits)
243 (8 strikes, 2 spares, 1 open-1 split)
140 (1 strike, 5 spares, 4 opens-1 split)
216 (7 strikes, 3 spares, 1 open)
206 (7 strikes, 4 spares, 1 open)

I never realized your wife was a bowler. You should post her scores too! You seem a little salty she got you one game. I get that by the "or something" LOL

I miss bowling with my wife, sadly she's way too physical messed up to do it now. Years ago we used to go every other Sunday after church with two other couples. Good times!

lol. She hates bowling. She joined our team last year just cause we needed another bowler but isn't league bowling anymore. I bought her a Twist and shoes last year. And no, not salty about losing to her. I was legitimately trying but was also testing outside of my comfort zone that game.

Also, I have that off balance hop at release. My ball is about 12" from my ankle at release which puts my center of gravity too far away from my center. The reason is that my slide foot slides too far to my off hand side so I'm off balance then. So last night I tried sliding closer to my center and it felt really weird. Wife said I was gonna trip myself and look like a fool....lol

Trip yourself and look like a fool.... Yep that sounds like a typical supportive bowlers wife. LOL

She was recording me for a few shots. I told her if I fell she had to delete that video...lol
