The center where I bowl two leagues recently changed to Kegel Infinity Oil. I'm seeing a lot of weird ball reactions though, to be fair, in the last couple of days we've had some humidity which is unusual for Vegas. What I'm seeing is a whole lot of hook early, with pretty tight backends. Yesterday the lanes were so tough that my one strike in the first frame was the only strike for our team. The other team had a total of four. My 173 that game was high on the pair except for a lady who shot 195 with a 12 pound ball. As she was the only one who could carry with her light ball, game two I changed to my plastic spare ball and shot 216-230 for the next two games. I found that straighter really was greater, at least on that pair. Have any of you had any experience with the Kegel Infinity Oil?

I have no idea what our lanes are conditioned with. For all I know it’s extra virgin olive oil😉

We claim they have been using the leftover french fry oil, as we never know what they are going to be like....and the humidity - up to 16% yesterday/12% today, doesn't help matters either.

12%? 16%? Geeez. Around here 70% is considered a good day

We like the "dry" heat! We are usually in the range of 7-10%. It's just the first few times the monsoons hit you really feel it. In about 2 weeks 16% will be ok, and then when we get to 25-40, it is really miserable.

I saw a video of a guitar repair guy working on a vintage Gibson that had been "polished" with olive oil for years - totally wrecked the fingerboard (had to be ultra cleaned, then stabilized with CA glue) and the paint and wood underneath was just wrecked.

Great on a salad or pasta - bad on guitars. LOL

One year at Nats in Reno (back when it was ABC) we were certain they were using 30wt on the lanes. ROFL

What's funny, I remember hearing that as well.

It's 11:15 in Milwaukee as I post this. 69°, with humidity at 86%. Walk outside, and it's like getting hit in the face with a wash cloth. A wet one.....
