PA State Seniors tournament

Finished my sets today. Started off doubles great but blew it. My book average for the tournament was 196. Started off with doubles a few weeks ago with Jim Pencak. Rolled 733 (290, 164, 279) and he rolled 591. Bowled singles right after that and started with a 245 but only rolled a 564. Bowled teams today at a center I have never bowled at and it was very slick. Struggled to a 132 in game 1.
First 2 games used the Altered Reality (2000 surface) and tried targeting from the 7 board to the 13 board and couldn't get back to the pocket. Game 2 moved out to the 3-5 board and was able to get to the pocket but only if I slowed it down by about 1.5 MPH. If I hit the 6 board it went straight. Games 2 and 3 were both 205 but had to stay clean in game 3 to get that. Used the Zen Soul (3000) game 3.

Oh...another lefty we bowl league with has a 235 average. He rolled a 510 today on the same pair right before our squad.

So far I'm in 3rd in the 6 game handicap block and we are in 5th in doubles scratch and 8th in doubles handicap. Still a week or 2 left in the tournament
