Hello everyone. I will be finishing up only my 2nd year of bowling in the next few weeks. I took up this sport for re-hab after I had major neck surgery to clean me out after I had cancer. My first year was pretty ugly because I was not very strong and could hardly move my head and shoulders. My average for this period was a whopping 142. Since then I have learned how to roll not throw a bowling ball and have become a good tweener with a nice hook on the ball. This year my average is 180 with 4 games over 250 and 3 600 series. I have bowled in 5 local handicap tournaments and won one of them along with a second place finish last week. I am looking forward to Vegas in July and rolling high scores there.I am using Roto-Grip equipment now and bowling 5 times a week (when I am not busy taking care of my Grandaughter) because of my disability but this sport has done wonders for my body and my mind. Have fun and high scores.
