I am curious how one figures out their rev rate. I noticed in a previous thread that you can put tape on your ball and count, but is that it? Do I need an equation for this?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it involves tape and counting. I'm pretty sure Storm's website has the directions and the formula in their video tips area. They do have some good stuff there, like how to determine your speed, etc.

do you have a link to the actual page with the tutorial on it? I searched the storm page and can't seem to find it.

any help or suggestions would be great

I've just spent some time trying to find it and it seems it's been removed. I didn't try youtube, but here are a couple of links that might help you out. http://www.bowlspot.com/page/rpms http://onestepto200.com/ballspeed.html I'll look elsewhere when I get the chance. I'm disappointed that they seem to have disappeared.

perfect...thank you sir! I'll check on youtube as well

Okay editing my post...I found one on Youtube...great video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK94ZtXJa9A is the link and the equation for anyone reading this and not wanting to watch the video its...

RPM = (#Revs/seconds) * 60

you count the times your tape that you put on the ball from the PAP out, and how long it takes you to throw that distance. that should cover it.

Thanks!
