On this special day I like to mine the toilet seats. You know those snapper or popper things that you throw on a hard surface and they snap? Place a couple under the standoffs on the toilet seat to surprise the next person who sits down. Just gently rest the seat on top of the snappers and wait for the fun. The wife hates it!

I did once swap the salt with the sugar when I was a kid, but I didn't enjoy the consequences. But I am one of the guys who likes to loosen the cap on the salt shaker at restaurants. ;)

I knew people in high school that would tell their boyfriends they were pregnant on April Fools Day.....but that is just pure evil in my book.
My husband and I are always joking around....but I never get the opportunity to prank him on April Fools just because he's never home. Over the Road truck driver...he's gone 5 days a week....and I could prank him over the phone...but I wouldn't want to say anything that would set him into a panic while he's not here...now if I went and made a call from a payphone....the possibilities are endless lol

Did you hear about the NASCAR one that happened today?

Car and Driver published a fake article (apparently clearly marked as such, but by the time I heard about this the article had already been pulled because too many people were way too upset) that said Obama had agreed to allow the automakers their bailout money, but GM and Chrysler would no longer be able to participate in NASCAR in order to save money.

Dumbest idea for a joke ever.... Rednecks are FAR too stupid to understand an April fools joke (I live in Texas.... trust me on this one). All it did was cause an uproar. FIRST that heathen Obama wants to take away their guns, and now he's going to take away American cars in an American "sport"?????? hahahahahahahaha.

Well..... I thought it was funny!!!! Don't mess with those rednecks and their traffic circles. No good can come of it. Poor Obama......

You know, I wasn't the biggest Obama supporter either (I tend to split right down the middle on politics, I can't really claim either party, but I do find myself siding slightly more liberal/democrat....), but lately I've found myself pulling for him more and more...

Think about it: I wouldn't take his job for all the money in the world!!! hahahaha. Poor guy really can't do anything that would please everyone. He just can't win right now. There are people who already hate the guy just because of the color of his skin (which I find completely unacceptable and ignorant, but the truth is there are those kinds of people out there), AND he takes over for what MANY (note, I did not say ME, I said many. Truth is, there are a lot of people out there who think that) consider the worst president and congress in our nations history, in a financial time that is unprecedented.

In all honesty, the job of fixing this mess doesn't rest solely on his shoulders, but there are too many people out there who do see it that way. Can he fix it? I don't know.... But I'm certainly pulling for him. I want him to be successful.

I'm certainly not expecting it to happen over night. I'm not even sure he can fix it during his tenure (even if he's re-elected and serves 8 years), but I hope we can look back at the first black president in our nations history and really appreciate what he did for us.

the part about Obama that particularly ticks me off is that I've been called racist for not supporting him. I'm a republican. I'm sorry, but even if he was white, I still wouldn't have supported him because I don't agree with his policies.

The only problem I'm seeing with him right now....is that he's far too strict with the automakers and far too lax with the banks. I honestly think he's hoping that the banks will fail, so that the government can step in and buy the banks and we can turn to socialism. He can make the CEO of Gm step down...but he can't out anyone at AIG for abusing bailout money?

Other than my beef with that....I can't really form an opinion of him as a whole. He hasn't spent enough time in office yet to see his progress as a whole.
